Care Philosophy: Cardiologists harness some of the most powerful technology available to treat a variety of ailments but that doesn't eliminate the need to build a strong relationship with patients and their families. I am concerned that the personal touch is slowly disappearing from the field of medicine. Patients and their families deserve to feel that even outside of the operating room, their doctor is committed to them and their continued cardiac health. I do everything I can to live up to that point of view. I often find myself sitting in a patient's room for an extended period of time explaining treatment options, I routinely end up checking on hospitalized patients late in the evening, and I frequently have office visits that run over the scheduled time. I may see several patients in a day, but I strive to make each one feel as they are my only patient. I will admit that this personal attention does cause me to run a bit late from time to time. However, I have found over the years that patients are understanding of the occasional delay as they know they have my full attention, dedication and time when I am with them. Accepted Health Plan information is only as accurate as the most current information submitted. Prior to your appointment, it is advisable to verify with a physician office that they are still a participating provider.
