First, the staff were very friendly and made me feel at home. i was very nervous about having a large molar extracted by a Dentist I didn't know. i had gone to the same Dentists for years in Baltimore County before I moved to Bel Air 10 yeats ago. None of the Drs. I was familiar with knew anyone in the Bel Air area to refer me to. I was like a fish out of water. After a panoramic exray, I met Dr. Vafakos in person. he was very calm and professional and took his time listening to me and my concerns. i've never had an appointment so relaxed to explain everything to me, not the hurried, rushed appointments with most Drs. these days. He took his time like I was the most important patient he was seeing. My procedure was scheduled for about 2 weeks later. From that day till my appointment for the extraction, I was completely relaxed and confident in Dr. Vafakos, his office, and the chair I sat in for the actual appointment. I felt like a family member. The appointment went well.

My husband was very anxious about his oral extraction. Dr. Vafakos was great. He made him feel at ease and the extraction was quick and painless. I would highly recommend Dr. Vavakos!

I could not have had a better experience with Dr. Vafakos. I am petrified of needles and dentists and i am a gager. I had to have a tooth pulled awake! I did not fell the needle, nor had any pain what so ever I was amazed. I would recommend highly!!

First visit to have a troublesome wisdom tooth removed under local anesthetic. Dr. Vafakos was very cordial and calmly explained the procedure. He administered the local anesthetic and carefully monitored its effectiveness. The tooth was painlessly extracted before I even realized it. Would definitely recommend him to my friends and family......I would never have imagined describing a visit for an extraction as pleasant but I left smiling, without the troublesome tooth and without any pain.
