Dr. Alexander Chang, DDS

Dr. Alexander Chang is a top-notch professional, compassionate dentist and a wonderful person! All of my family, including my sons ages 8 and 10, go to Dr. Chang. He is great with kids and goes out of his way to make our dental visit comfortable and fun. He does not keep his patients waiting, he takes the time to explain any recommended procedures and he uses state of the art dental technology. I highly recommend Dr. Chang to anyone looking for excellent dental care at a very reasonable cost!

I had a great experience with Dr. Chang and his assistant. He thoroughly explained his recommendations to me and let me know the condition of my mouth. I had gum disease so Dr. Chang informed me how regular cleaning wouldn't take care of the problem. He offered to be conservative and did deep cleaning for the area. After returning for a check up, the gum disease got better and my bleeding stopped! He clearly cares about the condition of his patients and I'm sure he helped save my teeth!

I was automatically assigned to this dentist by my insurance plan. He will recommend getting extra cleanings that are not necessary and will cost additional out of pocket. He then refuses to do a standard cleaning of my teeth, so I had to leave without any cleaning. He does this claiming he can only offer the best service but instead this results in a worse situation where I did not get my teeth cleaned. I will now have to find a new dentist. Do not use this dentist!

Dr. Chang is very professional, detailed, thorough, and comprehensive and no questions asked, the best dentist that I've ever seen. He has always taken extensive time to explain step-by-step on procedures, so that I know exactly what is coming and is comfortable moving forward. I can trust him 100% because he tells me exactly what I need to get done and will let me know if I don't need it. Dr. Chang finally opened his own practice right in the center of Irvine, second floor by Mitsuwa on Culver.
