Dr. Alison Fishman, DMD

Before choosing Dr. Fishman, I researched and met with 3 prosthodontists in the area. She stood out because she struck me as being the most caring, honest, and non-pushy of the three. I also got a good feeling about her. It turned out my feeling was justified. I needed what is called a Maryland Bridge to replace a crown that had fallen out. That required having a lab construct an artificial tooth that attaches to the teeth on either side of the old tooth. That requires skill in matching the color, and then a lot of work to get the teeth above and next to the replacement tooth to line up perfectly so the bite was even and smooth. Dr. Fishman is a perfectionist and took a lot of time to get everything to line up correctly. She also polished the teeth in the area, and did some filing down, so that it all matched. When I left the office, I couldn't believe how much better my smile looked than before I had even lost the original tooth.
