This 1 star review is for the non professional staff. This is not for the dental professionals, only the admin....... When they give you a fee for a procedure, it is inflated.....they do not take the time to look at your ALLOWABLE FOR THE PROCEDURE or Product you are buying.....if they did, I would have gotten the true fee for a CROWN/PREP......THAT IS WHY our insurances use allowables.......then most of us pay 0.5 of that allowable.........BUT, not at American Dental Care....they charge much more than the allowable than the pre-auth allows.

When asked for return call information, one expects to get that call. Not here, and I'm finding this isn't uncommon in Delaware. Medical professionals, if that's what they really are here, should always return calls when requested. Of course that's just common courtesy.

My appointment was sch for 3:30, I checked in at 3:25 but wasn't called back until 3:58. The tech did not introduce herself, no idea what her name is, I asked how long the process was and she said 20-30 minutes. I had X-rays, cleaning and an appointment scheduled for May 2019 and out the door by 4:18. The water sprayer ran out of water and she refilled it with tap water.... thought is was supposed to be distilled water. Also, the tech wasn't personable.

Knowledgeable, fast and pleasant, I wish ever doc I see were like Doctor Patel.

My hygienist is amazing! She’s very efficient, gentle and friendly. The office environment is very pleasant, I love all of the fish tanks! I’ve been going to them for about 10 years.

Have one doctor available to see patients.

My 9yr old son just had his first filling. Dr. Carter was amazing! He put my son at ease as soon as he walked into the room. I am so thankful!

I came in to evaluate a recently broken tooth from eating something. This particular tooth was to have a crown installed in the near future. However, this incident accelerated the process. Dr. Carter completed the first stage and I will be coming back soon complete the crown. He is a very capable dentist and I would highly recommend him for any dental work. The office staff seems to work together very well.
