Dr. Amy Dukoff, DMD

I went and it is freezing outside. Had an emergency. No one else was around but her and her staff. She took care of my root canal.

Went with an abscess. She drained it for me. I felt so much better. Great staff and clean office.

I went to Dr. Dukoff for a root canal on the recommendation from my periodontist who knew of her but had never met her. I arrived at my appointed time and then waited 45 minutes tosee her (no explanation given. When I told her I was a bit anxious, she mocked me by saying, 'why are you anxious, I haven't touched you yet. The procedure was grueling and lasted over two hours. She then told me that I would have to come back in a week for a second two week procedur I then went to my periodontist to have two teeth removed because of a bad infection. Then he prepared my mouth for a temporary denture. A couple of days later, I had severe pain in the area of the root canal, called my dentist and he told me to go back to Dr. Dukoff. I did. She told me the problem was not from the root canal but from a dried socket from the extraction. But, the ENTIRE TIME I WAS IN THE CHAIR, SHE REPEATEDLY SAID HOW MUCH MY MOUTH SMELLED, EVEN CLAIMING SHE COULD SMELL IT OUTSIDE IN THE HALLWAY.

Shopped around for a dentist to do a root canal and landed at Dr. Dukoff's because she was the only one I called who could get me in soon. No pain or problems whatsoever with her or any of her staff. No troubles during recovery. Good experience overall

My nasty cracked tooth was no match for her. I was expecting to be in the chair for hours but she was speedy and the procedure went very smoothy. Healing up has been a breeze. Recommend her to everyone. Super intelligent woman and great for information about the procedure.

She was late to my appointment due to taking in an an emergency patient. I was a bit peeved but her staff assured me she would be with me as soon as possible. Her office staff is really what saved the say for this review. Dr. Dukoff is extremely smart and good at what she does but if her staff had not been so kind and open to conversation and keeping me up to date, I would have given her probably fewer stars.

Went in today for an appointment. I had trouble finding the place as the address listed on this site is wrong. The confirmation text also listed the wrong . Not a good experience.

Went to Dr. Dukoff needing a root canal. I didn't even know there were dentists who specialize in root canals until I was looking for one. Dr. Dukoff was the definition of a professional. Explained to me the procedure and what I could expect. Needed some more numbing before the entire procedure started. Not a single bad thing to say about her. She was great and I feel that the root canal went as good as it could have.

Called her office right away at 9 because I was having a lot of pain after a cracked tooth procedure. Dr. Dukoff told me to come in as soon as I could and she would get me in ASAP to look at what was going on. I'd developed an infection. So happy she was able to get me in so soon. Can't imagine what would have happened had I had to wait a day or two.

Never thought I'd have to get a root canal because i've had really good teeth my whole life. Low and behold I had to have one. Looked around for a doctor and found Dr. Dukoff. Never had a single problem with her or her office. Easily got an appointment and when I got to her office I didn't have a huge wait. Fairly smooth procedure. Had some discomfort after but nothing I couldn't manage.

My dentist referred me to Dukoff. The address listed in the confirmation text was W 57 Street. Her office is on W 45 Street. I got it through information since the phone number was wrong also. I still made it on time last week but I was told she was backed up and I waited over 20 minutes into my time. She didn’t want to answer questions and the x rays she took weren’t dense enough for a proper reading. Overall, I don’t recommend.

After recently reading a review that stated Dr. Dukoff emergency scheduled someone right away close to a holiday and I can say this is not an out of the ordinary for Dr. Dukoff. She has scheduled me to come in right away during an emergency mere minutes before closing her office. Truly a fantastic woman who cares deeply for her patients whether they are new or returning.

The morning prior to the long Thanksgiving weekend I experienced throbbing pain from biting down hard on an olive pit. Dr. Dukoff immediately scheduled me for an emergency visit and diagnosed a cracked tooth through an oral exam and x-rays. She expeditiously made her recommendation for follow up with my general dentist, in addition to suggesting ways to reduce the pain. She was a lifesaver!

The text confirmation I got listed an old address. I went to 57 Street and was told she moved with no forewarding address. I found the 45 Street address through information and still made it on time. I had to wait over 20 minutes while she took an emergency. Why she would do that when I was an established patient with a confirmed appointment? The x rays she took were not clear or dense enough to read. I was asked to return later, 'when she wasn't busy'. I am now looking for another practitioner. Bad quality of care. I felt disrespected and belittled by Dr. Amy Dukoff. Definitely don't recommend.

I had a bit of an eventful journey finding Dr. Dukoff's office. There is some discrepancy on the internet regarding its location but after I arrived I was brought back right away. She apologized for my confusion and seemed relieved that I found my way there. She saw me for a cracked tooth and from the moment she started explaining the process of what she was going to do I was confident that she was professional and skilled.

Brought my father in and he's got some memory issues. He did really well during the appointment except for he asked the same question multiple times. Dr. Dukoff answered the question every time without a hitch and gave a more in-depth answer every time. Classy and professional doctor.

I've never been to a better provider. She was very easy to explain my issues to and she immediately went to work on a diagnosis. Compassionate through every step. Took x-rays, called my primary dentist to confirm what she was seeing, spoke to me like I was an adult and not someone to be talked down to. Really she just acted like a person and not a doctor.

Didn't have any problems with her. Procedure was fine and no problems. Left with less pain than I came in with.

doctor dukoff was fantastic in treating me. i've been having a lot of pain on one side of my mouth and i thought it was some sort or root problem so i scheduled an appointment with a root specialist. turns out i had a cracked tooth and a lot of gum sensitivity. procedure done and she hooked me up with some wash for my gums.

Had a botched cracked tooth thing happening after going to see a different doctor. Had gone to Dr. Dukoff a few years ago but couldn't get in for this procedure so had to go somewhere else. Wish I'd have just waited to see Dr. Dukoff. She looked at whatever it was that the other doctor did and fixed it. Everything feels better now.
