Worth it!
Dr. Hartsfield is not in network, but her office will file all insurance claims for you. It is your responsibility to ask questions about what is covered and what isn't. She works to find the root cause of your issues, instead of treating symptoms for the rest of your life. She has done extensive research and can truly help if you stay the course.

Horrible. It's a total scam! Take your insurance card knowing insurance won't pay and you're left holding the bag! An expensive bag at that!

She was recommended by my regular dentist to help with possible tmj and facial pain. I have a very good Medicare plan but was told that Medicare routinely denied her charges. The reason the office gave was because her practice and methods were so new. The reason BCBS gave when we contacted them was because she OPTED OUT of accepting Medicare patients. So much for her self serving, seemingly altruistic reasons for having this type of practice.

She is very unprofessional. She disagrees with amount of medication that a physician is prescribing. She is not a physician and any type/amount of medication I take is not up for her purview. Her tirades on the matter are unacceptable and unprofessional . She refused to perform a necessary procedure that I made the appointment for and need for my overall health.

I have severe sleep apnea and on a CPAP. Jaw was giving a lot of problems with popping and occasionally locking up. My Dentist sent me to a specialist who recommended surgery to re-set my jaw bone. I decided to get a second opinion prior to surgery. I went to see Dr. Hartsfield, was fitted with an appliance and had a new sleep study done. With the appliance the CPAP pressure was lowered allowing much better sleep. She also set me up for some therapy and the problem is now gone. No Surgery.

Very unprofessional business practices. My husband went to see Dr. Hartsfield about the possibility of a getting fitted for a mouth piece in place of his CPAP. When he made the appointment, he was never told they would not be submitting the office visit to our insurance company (which the office accepted), nor was he told the visit would cost $305 out-of-pocket. He didn't find out until after the appointment and was told HE could submit it.
