Dr. Harper is the worst dentist I’ve ever seen. I’ve been in 3 times in the past 4 months trying to get pain resolved. I was initially told it’s tartar build up that’s irritating the nerve and gums and could only be fixed with a deep scaling but they couldn’t get me in for that for 2 months. No immediate solution offered. So, I waited. Today the pain just became too much to bear and I went in for an emergency appointment. Again, I wasn’t offered any kind of immediate solution. I was just told it’s periodontal infection and was given antibiotics and NOTHING for the pain. It didn’t even occur to him to numb that small area and scrape that spur off to stop the ongoing irritation and prevent further infection. But had I been a man in that chair I would have been treated completely differently. I know this because my husband sees Dr. Harper too and barely mentioned pain to him on his first visit and came home with all kinds of pain meds. If you’re a woman go see someone else.
