Dr. Andrew Lasky, DDS

I've been a patient of Dr Lasky for almost 30 years. He never upsells or does more than necessary. The office staff is wonderful, and hygienist Stephanie is amazing!

I went for a routine cleaning (first time patient) and I will absolutely be looking for a new dentist. I've liked most of the dentists I've ever had, but Dr. Lasky had a really bad bedside manner. I was 10 minutes late, and stood there unacknowledged at the desk while he argued with an airline on the phone about his upcoming plane tickets. He was condescending, and took the same tone with me as he lectured me three times about being late to my appointment. I was lectured like a child about all aspects of dental hygiene, and even asked how much "that guy" (my orthodontist) was charging me for Invisalign. I was scheduled for a 1 hour appointment. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you he only spent 15 minutes cleaning my teeth, and did not do as thorough of a job as the other dentists. I was done much earlier than my appointment end and was charged a $15 COVID cleaning fee. I also don't like the tone he takes with his staff, who were delightful and kind.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lasky since the early 1990's. He is always on time, his staff is thorough and professional (and consistent), and he has taken very good care of me over all of these years. He is the best!

The hygenist is always through and makes sure you understand everything. Very good at suggesting improvement without shaming.

I always have a great experience with Stephanie, the hygenist. I enjoy coming to see the dentist. Dr. Lasky may seem rough around the edges, but he is a very good dentist and gets better each time I come to see him.

Denture fixes

Stephanie is one of the friendliest and most informed dental techs I've ever encountered. She was warm and welcoming... as if I'd known her for forever. In fact this is only my second time with Dr. Lasky, but you would never know it. I was in and out of my 1:30 in .25 mins without a hint of rushing or haste. We chatted about teeth whitening, invisilign and all my other dental questions. Dr. Lasky was pleasant and hilarious as I remembered. VERY happy with this practice!

He was HORRIBLE to his staff and told me, the patient, that I am essentially an idiot for putting "three times p/d" instead of "per day", on my paperwork because no one would understand what "p/d" meant and that no one else besides a "millennial" would understand. Everyone had to listen to him yell and harass the rest of the staff in the office. It was atrocious and he should not be allowed to oversee anyone until he learns to be a decent human being.

Had an old filling that needed replacement. Of course leading up to the visit I was anxious. However, much to my delight, he numbed the area before even injecting the novocain so i felt no discomfort even for this rear filling. He removed the old one in less than a minute and filled in the new filling in a few minutes. The entire procedure took almost no time at all and wasn't painful at all and now I'm all set for another 25 years!! Thank you!

He has been my dentist for many, many years. I've never been disapppointed. Not only does he do good work but he is a good, honest guy as well.
