Dr. Andrew Whitaker, DDS

He told me I had cavities. I went for a second Opinion and my mouth is fine. No cavities.

We went yesterday (6/17/20) for my seven year old son's second appointment with Andrew Whitaker. He went for his appointment there the day before where he did the "cleaning and examination". We saw Whitaker for a couple of minutes then, he said he'll treat my son's cavities. WE just moved from Ohio and my son saw a dentist on a regular basis for over a year. He normally has no issue with dentists. Whitaker confirmed that my son is "great" and asked to come back for dental work on the following day. We went. And this is where the nightmare began.  The day of, the doctor walks in, doesn't address us, doesn't talk to my son, does not explain what the x rays show, does NOT say a thing. He sits down by my son and pulls a big brown tube and places it on my son's nose WITHOUT any warnings. My son, naturally, panics and pushes the tube away. Whitaker takes off his gloves, says "I'm throwing the towel out now," and walks out WITHOUT saying anything. His asst asked us to leave. Unprofessional.

Dr. Whitaker is very nice and easygoing. He is not pushy about anything and is always there with a smile. I enjoy everyone in his office and I actually drive far to get there because I wouldn't want to change.

The office is always running on time so there is no waiting when you get there for your appointment. I always schedule routine maintenance at every visit but have had to get appointments for other issues and had no problem getting in. My wife and I are very happy with Dr Whitaker and his staff and would definitely recommend them to others.
