Dr. Anthony Petchalonis, DMD

I have been a very happy patient of Dr Petchalonis for years, and I have continued going to him after I moved to the Philly suburbs. He is so caring and takes excellent care of so many of my coworkers(which is how I found him) that we joke about how he is an honorary member of my company. The staff is great too! His assistant taps your shoulder when you get a needle which works like magic to take away the fear and pain of the injection. And his hygienist is very thorough and has gotten me to floss almost every day. Parking is a pain, but it's center city. Overall, I can highly recommend Dr Petchalonis to anyone looking for a good dentist.

This dentist over-reccomends expensive treatments for presumably financial gain (could also be poor clinical judgement). If you are new to Dr. Petchalonis and are suddenly told you need fillings, crowns, root canals - please seek a second opinion. This dentist takes advantage of the everyday person's lack of dental knowledge - we generally trust a dentist will recommend appropriately. In addition, his quality of work is awful - filling material between teeth and now my floss gets shredded, and an awful bite. My second opinion dentist summarized it after looking at his work: 'Well, it could have been worse.'

Charming, thorough, clean, honest. I recommend him to everyone. Very comfortable experience, doesn't rush decisions

Excellent dentist. Gentle. Competent. Friendly. Best dentist I've ever had and all have been good, but he is better.
