Dr. Ashley Mooney, DDS

As a Westfall Dental patient for over 3 decades, I had come to rely on outstanding care for pretty severe tooth and gum sensitivity which has increased w my age. After my longtime dentist passed away, it was truly a wonderful thing to find myself and my teeth in Dr. Mooney’s care which has not only outstanding but reflects the best of innovative dental practices. She is an excellent communicator whose knowledge and compassion are second to none. As an agED baby boomer whose longtime group of medical professionals have one by one retired, I consider finding Ashley Mooney tantamount to winning the health care mega millions. And as a PS, any former high school student landing in any of my classes over a 35 year career will tell you, She was NOT an easy A. To conclude, insofar as my dental care over the past 4 years has been concerned, Ashley Mooney is A plus Outstanding.

Communication is not a strength of dr Mooney. Nor is she conservative in her treatment. Rather than investigate tooth pain w film or alternative treatments she immediately sends you to a specialist. My last dentist would try different treatments for say cold/hot sensitivity. She immediately sends you to someone to do a root canal. This has happened twice to me. In neither case was a root canal a suitable treatment. After returning for an alternative, she increased pain level, didn’t answer any questions I asked and just doesn’t listen. Avoid unless you just care about a dentist that performs 2x yr annual exams.
