Dr. Austin Westover, DDS

We recently moved to Winchester from Louisiana. Found Westover and my family of 5 were all seeing the practice. Great dentists, and nice facility. The pricing from the upfront staff is deceiving. I was given an estimate, that I signed, that my services would be $0 after insurance. After services, I initially got a bill for $800 because the office staff didn't file correctly and rudely didn't want to fix it. Then after they re-filed after many calls, I still owed $226. Their response was that it is an estimate that can change. So why am I signing it? It's almost like a promise to make you feel better about money you will not spend with a bad ending. As of yesterday the office manager agreed to no longer see my entire family over this $226 bill. I do hope that the dentists making the money and paying the bills reads this and addresses the problem. We would like to continue coming without the hassle and rudeness. - Jason Babb

This is written from someone with EXTREME anxiety about the dentist. Dr. A. Westover has excellent bedside manner and explained everything that was going to be done and made sure I wasn’t in any pain. Relief from my dental pain was IMMEDIATE. The office is gorgeous and the TV mounted on the ceiling was a major bonus. Good tunes too! Very friendly assistants were very helpful in deescalating my anxiety. Definitely recommend!

Today was my first visit to Westover Family Dentistry and I couldn't be more pleased. The office is beautiful and unlike any dentist office I have experienced in my many years. The date of my last x-rays indicated I was due for them again. The equipment is state of the art and (although a costly item), I felt more knowledgeable about the status of my teeth than I have in a long time. Laura, the hygienist and Dr. Austin Westover were both highly professional and informative. There was never a feeling of being rushed and all questions were answered thoroughly. Areas of concern were presented by Dr. Westover along with recommended options for treatment/procedures and their accompanying costs. All in all, I am confident that I am in very good hands.

I had such a great, and relaxing experience at Westover Family Dentistry! Dr. Westover is so kind and made me feel at ease with the procedure I needed. Not to mention how beautiful the office is! Winchester needed an office like this!
