Dr. Benjamin Syndergaard, DMD

The staff at the office were very nice. However, I felt that Dr. Syndergaard was arrogant. When I went for my first post op appointment, he scolded, as if to a child, 'You've been looking at it, haven't you.' (which I hadn't). At the second post op appointment he said, 'Well, you get what you get.' How is that reasonable? My palate is still sore and I am not convinced that the graft of the front two teeth is any better than before the procedure. I certainly would not agree to this grafting procedure in the future.

My care at Carson Periodontics resulted in multiple emergency room and urgent care visits, tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills, and ultimately developed diverticulitis due to negligence by Ben Syndergaard. In a preliminary procedure, their work created a horrible infection that left me in debilitating pain, unable to function, unable to eat anything but pain pills. When confronted about it, Dr Syndergaard only offered deflection. 'It's normal'. 'It will pass'. 'I don't see anything wrong'. My condition deteriorated for months and exacerbated the original condition I sought help for which remained untreated due to them being booked up for months. I revisited their office on three occasions in the course of 6 weeks before they decided they could move up my appointment for the next part of the procedure. Every time I visited their office, they want to run a CT scan, and explain to me how my condition 'isn't their fault'.

I got a referral from another dentist, who did a root canal on the wrong tooth. Dr. Syndergaard got me in the same day. My husband also had a great experience with Dr. S. Highly recommend him to everyone.

my initial visit was fine I had no problem with any of my visits. My review is coming from not having my procedure finished!! How can a reputable dr. leave a patient not finished or half done? I can say he seems to be a greedy dr. all he wants is money my opinion of this comes from learning dr dropped my medicare ins. that is why the unfinished procedure. I live on a fixed income and can not pay for the procedure on my own.My review stands !!!

Kind, caring, knowledgeable. Oral surgery is not a pleasant thing to have to deal with, but this office and especially Dr. Syndergaard make it doable. I would highly recommend the office and doctor!

Very professional and very pleasant. He takes the time to answer any questions and constantly checks your well being during the procedure. Would most definitely recommend.

Of all the dentists I've seen in my 67 years, Dr. Syndergaard is the gentlest of all that I have experienced. He is a most concerned and humble gentleman. On various procedures, he follows up with a call, just to insure that all is well. I recommend Dr. Syndergaard and his well trained and courteous staff to all.

Oh My Gosh!!!! All of my life, in my mind dentists, torture, and needles have been linked together. When I walked into Dr. Syndergaard's office, I was terrified. He met me with a warm smile, was very reassuring, which gave me time and courage to accept what I thought was coming. He himself administered the anesthesia. I went to sleep and it was done!!! I couldn't and still can't get over how easy it was for me. The day after I got home, he himself called me to see how I was. SCORE!!

Dr. Ben is a highly competent practitioner who is extraordinarily sensitive to patient comfort and made every effort to see that my molar extraction went smoothly. When an issue (out of his control) arose a few days after the procedure, I was scheduled in the next day for follow-up and the Doctor, assisted by competent staff, quickly assessed the situation and took appropriate action. It's been a week and healing progresses well. I highly recommend Dr. Syndergaard for periodontal work.
