She told me that if I didn't get Invisalign this visit, I would have to have crowns placed on my back molars, not because I needed them, but because it was PREVENTATIVE. I was stupid and didn't get a 2nd opinion and got the Invisalign. I only saw her on my first ortho visit. The 2nd visit, I saw the assistant. My 3rd visit, I was told that she no longer works there. I was able to get in at her new office. My 4th visit, still didn't see her. I went in for my 5th, they told me she left and that I could go out to Brooksville. Now keep in mind, about 5 months have passed and I've been changing my trays every 10 days, my new dentist (who's amazing) tells me that I have deep pockets (measuring at 7s) and that my teeth are way too loose, so loose that I have to see a periodontist to make sure my teeth don't fall out. This could have been prevented if she was monitoring it. See, she just likes to sell the Invisalign, but she doesn't want to take the time and work to monitor it.

I drive almost two hours to have my treatment done by Dr McLendon. This doctor worth it the distance ! She's the best dentist I've ever had.

DO NOT GO TO HER! SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST ORTHO I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! I had orthodontist work done in my twenties, but I had to end it early since I moved states. I was looking to finish my treatment plan when I moved to Tampa, and found Preserve Dental Care. They were so kind and were able to get me in for my treatment plan almost immediately. Everything was going great until I met Bianca... She was my assigned orthodontist. For the treatment plan, she promised that if I paid the $5,000 by the end of the treatment my teeth would be where I wanted them to be. Then after I started my treatment, when I mentioned that I was unhappy with my smile, she literally told me that sometimes we cant change what God gives us because its the way god wants it. WHAT WHAT WHAAAAAT!!! I am sorry, but if I have paid a total of $8,000 on my teeth YOU CAN CHANGE WHAT GOD GAVE ME! I was in treatment for almost a year, and I was still unhappy with my smile, so I called Preserve to make an appointment with her to talk to her since I was supposed to be getting them taken off THE FOLLOWING WEEK! They then proceeded to tell me that she no longer worked there and my file is assigned to her specifically so I need to go where she goes. SHE NEVER CALLED ME TO TELL ME SHE WAS LEAVING EVEN THOUGH I WAS ASSIGNED TO HER!!! Then I asked Preserve to tell me where she went, and the contact information she left them was WRONG- after calling many places, I finally found her at a PEDIATRIC location, and they said they couldn't book me because I am not a child. BUT MY CASE WAS ASSIGNED TO HER AND I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET MY INVISALIGN OFF NEXT WEEK!!! I called Preserve crying, explaining the entire situation to them, and they got me in the following week, and got my Invisalign off, but were unable to do any follow-up treatment plans. So I paid thousands of dollars, and still have a messed up smile... She WASTED my time and my money. DO NOT GO TO HER.

Dr McLendon is the best. She takes time to explain everything and she genuinely cares about her patients. Extremely knowledgeable and her cosmetics skills are unbelievable amazing. Just fabulous!

She's nice, HOWEVER...From my experience, she will tell you that you need to get an expensive procedure done, (Invisalign or crowns -- which in retrospect, she was wrong about the urgency with both options) then, leave to another dental office without any notification. I've never had any dentist jump around from office to office. I am in the middle (actually, almost done - I literally have 10 trays left) with my Invisalign treatment, and she's now left 2 dentists offices - without any notification. At the first office, the dentist that replaced her, was not certified with Invisalign. I'm hoping that I can just stay on with the dentist that is at the 2nd location, because, I would prefer to not have to drive out an additional 1.5 hours out of the way.

Best dentist I have seen. Very gentle and smart. Would highly recommend her!
