The doctor seemed very competent but the assistant and hygienist were not. I was there for 5 hours and left battered and bruised. Canceling my September appointment. Would rather drive more miles than be tortured like that again.

I can't say enough about Dr Burtwistle and his staff. I was nervous going in but Dr Burtwistle explained everything he was doing and made me feel very comfortable. It was my pleasure to meet D'esta and Susan. D'esta was wonderful!!!!! She was friendly and put me at ease. I would highly recommend Dr Burtwistle's practice to anyone.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Burtwistle. The office atmosphere is polite, friendly and professional. From the staff at the front desk to dental assistant to dentist , each person gives the impression that they are knowlegable and confident. Everything they do is explained and you never feel rushed. They make you feel comfortable.

Dr. Burtwistle is a terrific dentist, a kind man, and I especially appreciate his telling me what to expect before it is done. I have had many occasions lately to have to have dental work done and he is top notch!!

Dr. Burtwistle cares about his patients and is very responsive! I have had a lot of experience over the years with Dentists due to frequent moves and I can honestly say Dr. Burtwistle is one of the best. He provided me with options for my treatment after carefully reviewing my x-rays and conducting a thorough exam. There were no surprises and I felt everything was clear. I will be a lifetime patient!

Very Happy Patient! in Monument, CO – May 12, 2016

Unexpected appointment was made due to a chip in the back of a front tooth. Expected the dentist to determine a plan of action and whether a temporary filling would get me by until a lengthy appointment could be scheduled. Prior to even looking in my mouth, the dentist determined I needed a crown (the tooth had no sensitivity or pain). He commenced to smooth out the back of the tooth, AND THEN sanded down the top of the tooth which resulted in my front tooth being noticeably shorter.

Dr. Burtwistle and the staff at Monument Family Dentistry are amazing. I have had a LOT of dental work done over the years and when I started going to Dr. Burtwistle I was so pleasanty surprised at the care and time he took to meticiously care for me. I have received 2 crowns and root canals and I have never experienced such great care from a dentist.
