Avoid at all costs. Dr. Sievert is a pretentious, condescending charlatan. I made the stupid mistake of agreeing to pay $250 for what should have been a free consultation for a sleep apnea mouth guard. They were quick to take my money but waited over a week to submit the paperwork to my insurance company. On top of this, Sievert spent every second criticizing my pursuit of the mouthpiece despite having had a sleep study done and two doctors telling me to get one. I hope I can save even just one person from making the same mistake I did. I decided instead to go with Dr. Summer at The Portland TMJ Clinic. He has been specializing in sleep apnea and mouth guards for decades and makes everything from scratch in-office. He did not charge me for my consultation (as any respectable, reputable doctor would) and we had an excellent rapport. I'm very excited to get my mouthpiece from him and start getting the quality sleep I deserve.
