Dr. Brett Hulet, DDS

Was treated like an idiot and was told I didn’t exist as a patient and definitely didn’t have an appointment. I had their card in my hand with the appointment on it. So, who’s crazy?

Canyon Way Dental in Newport (great Bayside location) ... My new hygienist, Chelsea, was literally the best I've ever had and I'm 62 years old. I hadn't been to a dentist for a while due to Covid and moving from CA so my teeth needed a lot of cleaning. She was very thorough but painless at the same time and a crackup to talk to. Dr. Hulet was excellent as well, skilled and very friendly. Nobody tried to sell me on unnecessary procedures. I'm thrilled that I found a dental office that I actually enjoy visiting!

Over two years with this dentist, I finally discovered (by going to a different dentist) that he had overlooked many issues with my teeth. Consequently, I recently had to have almost half my teeth worked on (it was only a year since my last visit with Hulet). At one point, I had an extraction; he miss-timed the prophylactic antibiotic prescription so that I had to take two rounds of antibiotics, and he left a fragment of tooth in the extraction site, which I had to go back to have removed.

The team here will make you feel welcome and important to them. Excellent care. They have assembled the skills and equipment to provide same day services for procedures that others require a second visit to complete.
