Stay away from this office!
I went there to get two deep fillings done. To my surprise, the doctor decided to do both on the same day! His assistant was a total beginner who permanently made mistakes, handing him the wrong things, which prolong everything and made me trust him even less. He also used huge amounts of laughing gas, which I wasn’t aware of, is something you pay for on top, but makes his job easier. I was so knocked out after the surgery that I was barely able to walk. I had asked them before if I would be able to drive afterwards to pick up my child, and they had reassured me that it was not a problem. So, I simply had to drive completely numbed and foggy. All this to say: The whole experience was simply terrible and traumatizing.
But later came the financial bang on top: I had given the office my dental insurance information in advance to calculate the cost and paid around $300 out of pocket, only to receive a couple of weeks later an additional out-of-pocket bill of an

Dr. Coats is very knowledgeable, gentle, attentive, and explains treatment in thoroughly. Past anxiety or dental fears are no more after dental visits at Dr. Coats office! Mary is so kind and knowledgeable as well at her job. She explains treatment plans in so much detail so patients can understand insurance side of things and numbers.
Dr. Coats staff are by far the best and friendliest ever.
I 100% recommend Dr. Coats dental office to family and friends.

Dr. Coats is one of the two best dentists I have seen in my 60+ years of going to dentists as an adult. He is caring, exceedingly capable and very accommodating. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

My dental care visits with Dr Coats are always exceptional. He provides excellent treatment, explains everything well, and it's always a friendly, caring environment. I would highly recommend Dr Coats to anyone looking for a dentist in the Longmont Colorado area.
