Extremely satisfied
I got top and bottom implant dentures. Dr. Sipes is thorough in explaining the process. He listens and addresses your concerns and takes the time to fix any issues until you are satisfied with the result. I absolutely love my new teeth! He and his staff have always been professional, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Sipes Dental!

No masking
I had an appointment with Sipes Dental this morning for a teeth cleaning. I entered the practice and no one was wearing a mask: not the patients, nor the receptionists at the reception area The dental hygienist who would be attending me was not wearing a mask either. When I was called to my appointment, she did put a mask on, but the proximity of the room where I was to have my teeth cleaned and the reception area, where 3-4 people were not wearing masks was negligible. I asked why no one was wearing masks, and the hygienist said that they were not required to do so. I have looked at the PA department of health's website and masks are required in health care facilities. Is a dentist's clinic not a health care facility? As my husband has Lymphoma, kidney disease, and hearth disease, I was not willing to risk taking off my mask to have my teeth cleaned in a confined and unsafe environment. So I chose to forgo my appointment. I will be looking for a more responsible dental practice.

Disregard for Covid protocols – Jan 31, 2022
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Sipes?
Had to sign and initial 2 pages of waivers regarding Covid, yet both girls behind the reception desks were wearing masks under their chins even after being asked to cover their nose and mouth. Because of their apparent indifference to safety guidelines, I will be seeing another dental practice.

My husband and I went for our check-up. The receptionists were wearing their masks under their chin. When I asked the one waiting on me to place her mask over her nose, she said wait a minute. Moments later, she put it on for a few minutes only. We did not feel safe and asked to speak with Dr. Sipes. We were told that he was too busy. We left without having our appointment.

Dr Sipes and his staff offer the most professional dental services I’ve ever experienced. Even a simple cleaning is more thorough than my previous dentists. Cutting edge office technologies. Great service. I won’t be using any dentist other than Dr. Sipes as long as I live

Only dentist I have been to that does not come in and exam your teeth every visit. Per the hygienist he is only required to come in one time a year. Just so happens I always have something wrong with my teeth when he does an exam but when he doesn't my teeth are good to go?? Looking for another dentist.

His ego is not professional. Informed consent prior to procedure? Always behind schedule, His assistant is good at rolling her eyes. Drug reps come before patients. They have a sign on the waiting room door that rudeness to the staff will not be tolerated, what about rudeness to patients?

Had my periodic cleaning done. The dental hygienist did not have a new sealed set of tools when I entered the room.During the cleaning she stabbed my gum in the back of my mouth. I feel it was purposely done because she kept pulling on the gum. I left the office with a sore gum. I figured it would heal in a couple of days. After 4 days it was not getting better so I visited another dentist for an emergency visit. I learned the area was infected and had to take antibiotics to clear the infection

Do not recommend. Only had three visits to this office, and I could say a lot. All I will say is dentist is not personable. Did not introduce himself to me, and never made eye contact. His manager is snippy, and the rest of the front desk team seem clueless.
