Nice guy, but deceptive pricing.
We initially went to him after we received an unsatisfactory price quote from a competing dentist. Dr. Egan laughed when we told him the competitor's price, and assured us the competitor's after-insurance cost was more than his before-insurance cost. So we used his services, and lo and behold, when we reviewed the bills, he charged just as much as the competitor.
There are plenty of good dentists out there. I cannot recommend this one.
