Dr. Chad Gubler, DDS

Had a crown done in April 2023 and a couple weeks later while on vacation in CA, same tooth required an emergency root canal. Gubler’s staff billed for root canal instead of crown and the CA dentists claim was denied. We are now in Jan 2024 and Gubler and his staff refuses to fix the problem or return our several dozen calls. We have now filed a complaint to the NV Dental Board.

What a huge disappointment and rip off. The staff is incompetent. No call to confirm the appt., no directions to office, was not advised the appointment would take 2 hours!! I had full mouth x-rays done in March w/my prior dentist so I made it clear ahead of time that I did not want to pay for another set and had the ones from March sent over. Instead, they told me they had to take full mouth photographs and 3D images, a way to make money. I met with the dentist who said everything looked good and we would need to monitor my gums and bone. Then the horror show began. The hygienist was very abrupt and lacked any sense of caring when asking me about my medical history. I have never experienced such pain and bleeding as I did when she simply measured my gums. I asked her to stop and she advised me that my gums were really inflamed. The dentist did not say this although she claimed he did.I brush, floss & water pik every day with no bleeding. I decided to leave their office at that point.
