Unfair Standards of Practice
We were a new patient, but gladly left this office. Our first visit waited over an hour past the appointment time for our consultation. No explanation- nothing. Then came to our follow up appointment a few months later. We were running 10 minutes late due to heavy traffic and an accident on the highway with terrible rain and was turned away at the front desk, after consulting with the dentist bc we didn’t provide a courtesy call to advise we were stuck in traffic. They didn’t call us to see if we were on the way, as we confirmed our appointment. Would not recommend this place!

In February of 2024 I had all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Okezie. I received no pre op instructions from my dental office, and when I called and asked if there was anything I should be aware of, they told me Dr.Okezie and his team would give me a call the day before, which never came. Needless to say I was nervous and had questions the day of. When the Dr asked me if I had questions, I said that it would be comforting to me to have kind of an overview of what would happen. I was blatantly told no, and he went on to ask me if I knew why I was there, how may teeth I had, just crazy stuff pretty much talking down to me to try and get an answer of why I needed the operation. Unfortunately, my dental office made a billing error, and I had no anesthesia for this procedure and was totally awake the entire time. Not once was I asked if I was okay, reassured, any of that. It was as if I was not there. At one point I had made a few gasping noises in pain, and he told me to stop. I truly could not help it, it was the last tooth and the numbing had definitely worn off. After the procedure was done, he said nothing to me.

I recently had to have a damaged tooth extracted (cut out) by Dr Okezie. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure and what I could expect during and afterwards. Dr Okezie and his staff were absolutely wonderful! It has been almost a month now and I have not had any issues at all. If I ever have another tooth extracted, I will definitely be asking Dr Okezie to perform the surgery.

No Thanks
I consider myself to be a relaxed person. But Dr. Okezie definitely brought out my nerves as a patient. I was scheduled to get my wisdom teeth removed and when he came in the room he did not have a good vibe. He sat with me and went over the procedure and risks. He spoke was a condescending tone and talked to me like I was a child. I felt more comfortable with the assistants than with him. I could tell that the assistants were working with a tough & impatient doctor. He also spoke to them with a harsh tone that did not help my nerves before going under anesthesia. “Don’t count down like that.” And, “Hold the IV line like this so I can grab it.” I could tell one of the assistants was new to the office and was learning how to work with him but he was not patient at all. The technicians gave each other knowing looks while Dr. Okezie wasn’t there. He did not make me feel relaxed and like I was in good hands.

Warning!
Someone I know went to him, unfortunately for her. He was very condescending, had a superior attitude, was rude, and just downright mean. No caring that a patient can be anxious about a procedure. How he's still in business, I don't understand. Wish there was a zero rating. Absolutely horrible experience for her. Beware!

Got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Okezie. Worst dentist experience I have EVER HAD. He was so mean and sarcastic not just to me but to his assistants. They acted like they were afraid of him. He had zero bedside manners, didn’t even attempt to make me feel better about the procedure. Dr. Okezie is a cold man.

Don’t ever go see Dr. Okezie!! He’s unwelcoming, rude, disrespectful, and very harsh. He has no sympathy for the pain you’re in at all. Awful experience. Think twice before letting him tough your mouth.

I had a wisdom tooth that needed a surgery to remove, he was nice, gentle and he made the procedure extremely comfortable. He explained what he was doing very clearly and only did what was required. I would highly recommend him.

Worst experience of my life. This man is extremely unknowledgable. Makes the patient feel so uncomfortable. Really does not know what he is doing and I can not emphasize this enough. Will not answer any questions. Does he even have a degree? Do not see this oral surgeon.
