Dr. Christopher Bates, DMD

Dr Bates is by far the best dentist (I’ve gone to a few) that I’ve had. I know he does only root canals but do not fear this procedure with Dr Bates. Wish there were more like him. Thank you!!

I was referred to Dr. Bates because my endo work required unusual expertise. His work was the best root canal I have ever experienced! While that procedure is never pleasant, it was easy to see why that referral took place. I was never in any pain, he explained precisely what he was doing and the entire procedure was completed in less than an hour. I recommend Dr. Bates for anyone requiring expert, professional care - and the dedication to "go the second mile" for his patients!

I have had two root canals with Dr. Bates. He knows what he is doing-period. Dr. Bates is very thorough from start to finish. He will call later after the procedure to see how you are doing. He and his office staff are very professional and caring. No one wants a root canal but Dr. Bates and his staff will make sure your experience and outcome concerning your tooth will be the best it can be. His office is very clean and attractive and has a calming atmosphere. They welcome questions and care about any of your concerns.

I have been treated on several occasions by Dr. Bates and his great team and highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of care. Not only is Dr. Bates superbly qualified at what he does, but provided care that is absolutely pain free. He possesses a very warm and friendly personality and has an incredible professional staff including those who directly assist him as well as the great support staff that great patients, schedule appointments and assist with insurance and payment matters.

Dr. Bates is the only endodontist who will ever do any root canals to my teeth! He has the lightest touch. His knowledge, wisdom, experience and skills are the best! He is a kind, attentive and understanding, individual with awesome bedside manners. Dr. Bates really takes time to analyze your dental issues. Dr. Bates is a dental professional with integrity and honesty who really cares about the well being of his patients.

I had a root canal done by a dentist and i still had discomfort, pain for 2 weeks or so. I went to Dr Bates for him to redo the root canal on that same tooth and there was no more pain! Dr bates was very attentive and took time to understand about my situation that i can have adverse reactions with anesthesia. He put effort to ensure that i had the right anaesthesia and the right amount, and I had no adverse reaction at all! He is gentle, and a professional endodontist, who is the real deal!

First time here and Dr. Bates did a wonderful job explaining everything to me. He was very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Always checking to see if I was doing ok through the procedure. I was so concerned that he would not be able to get all the way back to my last tooth especially when I could not open my jaw very far because of past jaw surgery. But he did it! I love that you could watch TV on the ceiling to distract you. Huge + You get to keep the ear phones. I would Refer anybody here!

I drove in from Corpus Christi. It is worth the 4 hour round trip to see Dr. Bates and his staff. They are extremely kind, knowledgeable and very efficient. They do not make feel like fool for a simple question. He and his staff made it very smooth and comfortable to handle. They want to ensure that you are clear and comfortable before you leave the chair.
