I was sent to Dr Chen by Dr Shah DDS to replace bone in my jaw. He did a CAT scan and said to me that the surgery was not necessary because my sinuses were working fine now after the surgery by Dr Shah and Dr Christensen Sicat. I was very happy to hear that. I had a bad tooth infection and went to see Dr. Chan for a third opinion. While my own dentist who did the tooth extraction which caused the infection told me to wait for natural healing, and another oral surgeon whom I sought for a second opinion on the same day wanted to operate on me in his office that lacked equipment. Instead, Dr. Chan told me to go to ER immediately as he considered my infection severe, and the operation requires general anesthesia and intubation. A large abscess of 3 cm in diameter was found on CT in the ER. I was operated immediately under general anesthesia and intubation as predicted by Dr. Chan. The oral surgeon at the ER told me that I could have sepsis any time if the abscess was not being removed immediately. I went back to Dr. Chan for a dental implant and experienced once again the care, skill, and professionalism. My new general dentist was very impressed with Dr. Chan’s work when she saw the X-ray of my new implant.I highly recommend Dr. Chan!
