In recent months, I’ve been referred to Dr Widmer’s office on several occasions for various endodontic problems. I can’t say enough about his knowledge, compassion, care and personal follow up that exceeds expectation. Between his thorough assessments, his “Let’s sit down and talk about it” manner to his “humming in the background and before you know it you’re done” methods, for whatever reason I’ve been there, the experience has been pleasant every single time. I first visited Dr Widmer several years ago at a very stressful season for me personally, and when I left I thought, “Is my life so terrible that having a root canal was this awesome?” The fact is, at Root Canal Center of Naples, the experience is that good. Dr Widmer has curated a wonderful staff who demonstrate his values of care on a daily basis. Dr. Widmer embodies the essence of the perfect dentist! Referred to him after a challenging root canal left a piece of metal in my tooth. I was initially apprehensive, however, Dr. Widmer's kindness, patience, and exceptional care swiftly dispelled my fears. With Ashley, his gentle assistant, by his side, the atmosphere was one of reassurance and comfort. Dr. Widmer's unique blend of professionalism and warmth transformed the clinical setting into a haven of relaxation. His affection for music, humor, and engaging conversation made the procedure surprisingly enjoyable and pain free. Amidst laughter and camaraderie, Dr. Widmer's expertise shone brightly, turning around a painful, daunting situation into a successful and uplifting one. He successfully removed the metal and performed a remarkable root canal! In him, I found not just a dentist, but a true Angel.

Dr Widmer is the best! He and his team are so professional, calming, caring and super competent. I had a very tricky situation with a nerve and they handled it perfectally.

I was in some significant pain after having a crown put in several weeks ago, and it was determined that I needed a root canal. Dr. Widmer and his staff were absolutely fantastic. The receptionist was able to get me in promptly, and they even stayed open to fulfill the appointment with a hurricane out in the gulf. Throughout the entire procedure Dr. Widmer took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and what (if anything) it might feel like. If the unknown of dental procedures makes you nervous, then Dr. Widmer is the endodontist for you. He is extremely personable, and very knowledgeable in his field. As a little aside, he is a veteran of the US Air Force, where he practiced as a dentist. I know many people who have served our country, some of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice, sadly. As a general rule, it makes me feel good to give my business to those who have done so much for us.

Just finished up with my first appointment with Dr. Widmer. He was on time, informative, compassionate and extremely professional. Would recommend him as well as his office personnel if you are in need of a root canal. It was a painless procedure.

I saw Dr Chris in an emergency situation , my anterior lower teeth were compromised at the last minute before my vacation .Dr Chris did amazing job in a very difficult situation, he saved my lower anteriors he was very kind and professional .If anybody needs RCT therapy I would highly recommend him and his staff. My entire experience with Dr Widmer and his staff was exceptional. Dr Widmer explained all aspects of treatment and options for completion. Every office professional and team member completely “knocked it out of the park” in performing procedures and being thorough and caring. This is where you should go for your root canal / endodontic treatment.

I was very nervous about having a root canal, but this doctor and the office staff could not have been more accommodating and kind. Dr. Widmer made the whole process much easier than I feared. He gave me a thorough diagnostic evaluation, explained everything along the way, talked me through the anesthetic so that I barely felt it, had a sense of humor; and every step was in place to make the procedure very tolerable. I have never fallen asleep during a dental procedure, but I did for a moment! That is how relaxing it was. Dr. Widmer is knowledgeable, kind, confident, and skillful - and treated me like an individual, not just a patient. Root canal for my elderly mother; MOST caring and patient staff in this office. Due to prior stroke and resulting conditions, Mom has trouble with her mouth, and facial muscles. This makes everything dental a challenge for her. Dr Widmer and everyone in the Naples office was so kind and considerate, took the time and patience to gently help her with a root canal procedure . Dr Widmer is very calming and makes a stressful situation a lot less stressful. He explains everything as he goes along. All of his staff are very professional, friendly and caring. This was about the best root canal experience I ever had! I would highly recommend him.

I never thought a root canal could be pain free. I experienced no pain during and after the procedure totally unlike my previous experience with a different orthodontist. Dr. Widmer excels in making you feel relaxed. He explains everything he’s about to do and talks to you during the whole process. He’s so kind and really cares about you and how you’re doing. Southwest Florida is really blessed that Dr. Widmer chose to make this his home and where he practices. I also want to acknowledge his staff. Everyone I encountered was extremely kind and helpful especially his receptionist who took the time to check with my insurance company before I even got there to find out what was covered. Dr. Widmer is an exceptional doctor. He made me feel very comfortable. He thoroughly explained every step, and took extra time to answer my questions. I chose not to have any numbing, and he was so gentle that I had no pain after the root canal. I will recommend him to all my family and friends.

He is now practicing in Naples FL. My dentist recommended him for a root canal. He is young very competent gentle and explains what he is doing before starting and while is doing your root canal. He has a great sense of humor which relaxed me. I recommend him if you need an Endodontist.
