Dr. Corey Truman, DMD

I was hesitant about my visit. I had an emergency and they immediately saw me. When I called, I was lucky that the dentist answered my call, he was very professional in a friendly way. The office staff are nice, helpful and put me at ease. Dr Corey is very knowledgeable, good listener and explains conditions well. The office machines are so advanced. It is a dental office that I would highly recommend, you won't be disappointed

I am a former patient of Dr Truman's at a Louisville dentistry. He is the best!!! He made me comfortable (pulling 3 teeth was stressful) and absolutely painless! I wish I could drive to Bowling Green to follow up. Thank you Dr Truman.

Dr. Truman is a good guy. He fixed the mess that Precision Dental made and saved me a lot of money. The staff is also very helpful and flexible at taking care of emergencies.

The team at Hartland Family Dental are all very kind and helpful. They did an amazing job being patient and answering any questions I had, especially with being very nervous about dental offices and getting work done! My first visit was great but the subsequent visits, the team started eluding to needing work done (filling replacements, crowns, etc.) and this was conveniently during "crown specials" being run. They seemed to frequently try to "up-sell" with my spouse on things that didn't need to be done. Being told that I needed several things completed didn't sit right with me and I received a 2nd opinion from a very reputable dentist in the area (private not corporate office) and he expressed zero concern and did not recommend any work to be done. Though the team at HFD are very kind and helpful, it does not hurt to get a 2nd opinion if procedures are being recommended. I am switching offices.

Everyone at Hartland Family Dental Care are awesome! The front office staff were very friendly as I checked in. Katherine, Dental Hyginiest did an amazing job making x-rays and cleaning my teetlh. She was excellent at explaining dental care. Then Dr. Truman did a fantastic job with going over my dental plan with next steps. He took time to explain all my options. Dr. Truman, Amanda (assistant), and Nina (assistant) took great care of me. I would highly recommend Dr. Truman and his staff.

Dr. Truman is awesome! Him and his entire staff do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome and cared for. I refer all of my friends and family to see Dr. Truman at Hartland Family Dental Care because I know of how much of an outstanding job he does. His dental hygienists are equally as great and so pleasant! If you're new to the area or looking to change dentists, GO SEE DR. TRUMAN!

Very friendly staff, and I didn't have to wait long to be seen. They were very thorough and explained everything to me. Two thumbs up!

Katherine did an excellent job cleaning my teeth! After she was finished, Dr. Truman came in to check my teeth. Everyone in the office was friendly and was very caring! I would highly recommend!

Dr. Truman does solid work, but the dental assistants positioned (sales pitch) and pressured me into premature periodontics. I was put on an exorbitant, three month treatment plan that most insurances don't cover. I was paying out of pocket for every possible prevention to further "good gum health." After a year at Hartland I went to Western Kentucky Dental. They informed me that they have heard similar stories from patients getting the same "sales pitch."

Not happy with their billing and amounts. I have dental coverage and every fee had an in-plan discount except the non-covered laser treatment that they said had to be done. It took 5 minutes max to use the laser on my gums and they charged me $320 which is crazy. So that calculates to a $3,840 per hour procedure which is ridiculous.

Dr. Truman was very informative and easy to talk with. During my first visit, he patiently and thoroughly explained everything in regards to getting my dental health to where we'd both like for it to be in the future. The other staff members were no exception. They collectively helped to create a friendly and welcoming experience for my first visit and I'm confident that I've chosen the right dentist moving forward.

I gave my insurance provider a 5 star after initial visit, but my opinion changed. Went in needing a root canal, was very pleased with initial visit & quoted a very affordable co pay with my insurance. Set next appointment to get procedure done, scheduled day off work, sit in chair & somehow my co pay escalated 4x higher than what I was quoted! No could answer why, just said a mistake was made sorry about that. I could not afford this amount so left without anything being done. Won’t be back

I went to Dr Truman after taking a refugee friend to him. My dentist had retired and I hadn't been to a dentist in a while. I had a badly decayed tooth that I knew needed to come out. Dr Truman is very thorough and gentle! He set me up a plan and told me the cost for everything upfront. His whole staff is friendly & accommodating. After a few visits, I am back on track! Your mouth is an important part of good health. Dr. Truman will do what you want, but will also recommend what needs to be done

While everyone is nice, I feel “issues” were always brought up to get me to pay money for services not covered by insurance, that after getting a trusted 2nd opinion we’re mit necessary.

I was in a lot of pain from a cavity that I let get out of hand and the office was quick to get me in and Dr. Truman was quick to get me out of pain. His bedside manner was the best I've ever seen and he walked me through everything that he did. He great at what he does and I will be making him my primary dentist.

I was so Terrified of not being put to sleep and the staff and the dentist was so wonderful I would recommend DR.TRUMAN to any person. The best Dentist I hope to continue going to Him With all my treatment plans. And the people there, are outstanding. The staff makes you feel at home knocks the edge off so you’re not so scared.

Dr Truman is kind when speaking with his patients. He’s not bad to look at either. However he is very fond of selling crowns. Sometimes it’s a cavity that can be fixed with just a filling. I was on my 3rd crown when I questioned the need. I’ve never had a dentist tell me he wouldn’t fill a cavity without also placing a crown. I found 2 dentists that said it wasn’t necessary. I was a patient for years before this. I felt taken advantage of and won’t go back :( dental assists are great.

Dr. Truman has really impressed me. He pulled a troublesome tooth with skill. He also has replaced a crown so successfully my tongue actually leaves it alone because it's so comfortable and fits correctly (the crown was installed today.) He's working on another replacement crown now and the temp crown fits great....heck I could live with the temp crown permanently! He and his staff are very friendly and professional.

Worst experience i've ever had from a dentist office. I had some teeth pulled and a set of dentures made and they didn't fit from the start. Well first, my try-ins got broke in shipment and the Dr. decided to just skip that part and have them make the permanent ones. They told me to wear them over night and i went back the next day and told them they didn't fit and they didn't do anything wanted to send me to their implant Dr. and bolt in a set of dentures that didn't fit.
