Irresponsible, arrogant.
Resnick recommended a more complicated (extensive and expensive) extraction procedure for my teenage son than was necessary. His recommended procedure carried a higher than standard risk for permanent damage. When my then teenage son asked "what happens when you can't feel your face (ie due to permanent nerve)." Dr. Resnick told him he would just "get used to it." At this point, I knew we were heading for the door. And for alternative consultations. All of the doctors in subsequent consults told us the procedure was not necessary, too risky and they would not even consider it as an option due to the higher risk of possible permanent damage. Incidentally, the procedure Dr. Resnick recommended would have required extensive and expensive orthodontics. His wife was (then) our family's orthodontist.

I believe in Dr Resnick
I traveled from Cincinnati Ohio and I handed Dr Resnick , my daughter, with the worst jaw ankylosis anyone has ever seen. I had a distraction doctor in Cincinnati who got fired from Cincinnati Childrens hospital. I had NO doctor in Cincinnati. So Dr Resnick and his staff took on this monumental task of correcting my daughter jaw issues where the other Dr in Cincinnati ran away from how he ruined her life. Jaw froze can’t eat etc: Dr Resnick and his team took over She is still not out of the woods yet after artificial jaw joint replacement both sides. I can’t say enough of him and his staff at Boston Childrens. This too shall come to pass. Thank you Dr Resnick.

A diamond in the rough
I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Resnick and his team. Not only is Dr Resnick approachable, personable and down to earth, but he is knowledgeable, to the point. He explains conditions in a way that is easy to understand. I respectfully disagree with the negative reviews on here. Dr Resnick is that rare combination of excellent bedside manner and telling you what you need to know in a way that doesn’t scare you. He has a presence that immediately makes you feel at ease. A rare gem of a human being and Doctor.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. They sent me a $706 bill for a 10 minute Zoom call. The lady at billings claimed it was due to the time the surgeon took to examine and come to the decision that I needed my wisdom teeth removed, but that was already determined by my pediatric dentist and Dr. Resnick looked at my X-ray for less than 5 minutes. Despite asking about the cost of the zoom call, they waited until weeks after the appointment to bill my mother $700+. They not only called multiple times to move the appointment time later for Dr. Resnik's convenience, but would not reconsider the amount due. I cannot see how any ethical practice can charge so much for providing so little service. Shame on them.

My son had reconstructive jaw surgery with Dr. Resnick; he is now almost two years postoperative. Dr. Resnick did a beautiful job repositioning my son's jaw. My son's upper and lower jaw are now positioned perfectly after Dr. Resnick surgically moved them into the ideal positions. We were very satisfied with the amount of time we spent with Dr. Resnick and his team, pre and postoperatively. We felt well prepared for the surgery, as well as the long recovery. It was a smooth process. I highly recommend Dr. Resnick. More importantly, my son, who had the surgery, strongly agrees.

My experience was TERRIBLE. Dr. Resnick was extremely dismissive and tried to push me into extra services that I was very vocally refusing. In the end, his office failed to inform me of costs and I paid $100 out of pocket for nitrous oxide that wasn't needed despite a request to review. I would highly recommend AGAINST going to this office.
