Force to pay for their billing error
I went to this dentist's office in Englewood. At my first appointment I gave the billing staff both of my dental insurance cards. They said my treatment would be fully covered.Months later I received a bill for $850. They claimed my insurance didn't cover the work I had done so I paid the bill. Later I found out that my insurance actually did cover it, and it would have paid that $850 in full but the provider didn't submit for prior authorization.I filed a grievance but it was denied. They forced me to pay $850 for THEIR mistake!I will never go back to any of this dentist's offices and I strongly suggest that you refuse to sign anything they ask you to sign related to billing, unless of course you want to pay for their billing errors.

Dr. Abboud is horrible. Avoid him at all costs. I went for a 30 minute check-up. After dismissing my concerns, I was told that I needed an expensive deep clean. I was pressured to do the cleaning right then. No one discussed the incredibly painful and invasive procedure with me prior to starting. Dr. Abboud used so much novocaine that I had heart palpitations, however somehow numerous spots were still incredibly painful. Considering the novocaine was $300, I'd love to know what happened there.... Despite my best efforts, at one point I cried out in pain. Dr. Abboud did not stop to check on me, but replied, "You're fine." He was rapidly and aggressively filing plaque and a good bit of bone off of my teeth. There was no informed consent. I left feeling confused and violated. If I did my job with this lack of care, I would not have a job. Dr. Abboud, I suggest you read a book on emotional intelligence and reconsider your career path.

I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this dentist, and I must say, it was beyond disappointing. The dentist barely acknowledged my existence, let alone spoke to me. To add insult to injury, my tooth felt like a pin cushion after being poked at three times with no explanation. But wait, it gets worse. Instead of discussing my dental issues with me, the dentist simply barked orders at the hygienist and abruptly left the room. I was left to decipher my own treatment plan, and the receptionist's explanation was about as clear as mud. This dentist's lack of communication, minimal effort, and dismissive attitude left me feeling frustrated and completely unsatisfied with the care I received. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to anyone looking for quality dental care.

Incomplete service
I had a crown lengthening scheduled for 2 months. On the day of the appointment I was notified it was canceled at the desk do to an insurance change at the office. I had recieved a confirmation call the week before for the appointment still happening which I had agreed to. When I talked to the office manager they said they would see me later for a new exporbant price instead of my original quoted price which I said is not fair as I had already put the quoted money to the side for this visit. I am upset and confused on why they would not get me in sooner so that I could get my surgey completed. I feel like this happend just to get me in the office and try to get more money out of me. Even as an office decision to stop taking my insurance "one day prior to my surgery" this is still completely unacceptable as it showes they do not care or respect their patients. I would not recommend this office to anybody.

I had a pain in a molar & went to my dentist. She diagnosed that I potentially needed root canal & new crown or implant, but asked me to go to an endodontist. She recommended 1 but was busy So, I went all the way from south Denver to Boulder to see Dr Abboud bc he'd be an endodontist that could see me next day. Got there & saw Dr Patrick. Nice young guy but he was not the endodontist. His diagnostic was similar to my dentist, except I went to see "Dr Abboud" for his confirmation and next steps. I politely asked Dr Patrick for Dr Abboud and said he was busy. Nurse came with how much it'd cost for an implant (still no Dr Abboud around) & said that if I was getting the implant he would come do it right there Well, no thanks. I need to at least see the doctor & meet him before I give me my business & let him take my tooth. That's rude & unprofessional. No empathy. Pay for your visit but I won't see you face to face. If my out of pocket is so high, I rather give my money to someone else

This morning I had my teeth cleaned by Lynda, with xrays and instructions on gum care. I love this office because they are all so helpful and friendly and they start early in the morning. My appointment was at 7 a.m. and I did not have to wait. Dr. Danny explains things clearly and does not do unnecessary work. This office also offers an "in house" insurance program which helps immensely.

In short, Dr. Abbound has perhaps the worst bedside manner of any Doctor I have ever visited. He didn't even talk to me to let me know what he was doing, ask questions, etc., and was downright disinterested and rude. He pushed more procedures on me that other dentists have told me I don't need. Worst of all, he filled a cavity that now gives me constant pain, and fixed a chipped tooth that chipped again within a month (on a piece of soft bread.)
