Kind and knowledgeable.

I saw Dr Bunn for an issue with a cracked tooth.He determined that the tooth could be saved. When I went to see him he wasn’t great about explaining the process. I had issues afterwards and it was the weekend. They leave the office Thursday afternoons and you’re waiting until Monday. There’s a voicemail that isn’t monitored it seems. No after hours number to call. He seems disinterested. Initially, I thought he was just calm and laid back. Honestly, when there’s an issue he’s passive and not interested. Much of dentistry is explaining the process. Expectations for healing time and what to expect in terms of pain after a procedure. He sometimes relies on the receptionist who is incredibly disinterested. She is not willing to go the extra mile to ask him to clarify. It used be there were nice and thorough receptionists that really knew their stuff. Didn’t even need to talk to the dentist because they knew the procedures and how to help. Answer questions about what’s normal etc.
