Dr. David Mikitka, DDS

Very knowledgable and honest but lacks empathy and good ‘bedside manner’ compared to other dentists in the area. It comes across as very rude and almost as if he is tired of his job.

I absolutely dread going to the dentist but the staff and Dr really made me feel at ease. I had been told by a prior dentist (after being poked, prodded, and had dry ice held on my teeth...) that I needed $12k work done and several root canals. This doc took a much closer look and explained everything in full detail. I only need 3 fillings and they were able to get me in next-day to take care of them! I wish I had found him sooner and that I wasn’t moving in a few months.

Great staff and nice office, but he is a jerk.

2 different dentists identify 2 different teeth that said I needed a root canal. I went to Dr. Mikitka for one more opinion. He is the most honest dentist I have ever talked with! The other dentists didn't ask enough questions. I had gone scuba diving on vacation and he said the pain could be caused by a sinus that went very close to my gums that was shown in an X-ray. He said to wait a few weeks and see if the pain goes away. It went away and I didn't have a root canal. I highly recommend him!
