The single worst experience I have had at a dentist. He did a root canal and various fillings. On arriving at my appointment he told me they ran out of nitrous and asked if I was OK without it. He didn't tell me I would be in the chair for 5 hours. I was a mess afterward. I did not go back and went back to my traditional dentist. When I told her about the experience she took new X-rays to compare to the old ones and told me a lot of the work he did was unnecessary and strictly cosmetic (replacing silver fillings). She also told me he had a reputation for providing unnecessary services in the Indy community. Stay away at all costs!

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith for almost a year & I can honestly say that he has changed my life for the better. I was suffering terribly from TMJ migraines & as soon as I started treatment, I began to see results. He and his staff are amazing and truly care about the well-being of their patients. He is very kind and polite, but his neuromuscular treatment has had a negative effect on my pain. I learned later, that his ideas are not based on science. If you are looking for help in TMJ, I suggest the Orofacial Pain Clinic at the University of Kentucky.

I have been a patient of Dr Smith’s for 17 years, and he is the only dentist that I will see. I have lots of dental anxiety from a bad experience with a dentist when I was in college. Dr Smith has always been kind and confident with me in regards to easing past this other experience for my dental care with his office. His staff is great. He is knowledgeable and helpful. I trust and enjoy his care/staff so much that I have continued to drive to him 5 yrs after we moved out of state 3hrs away!

Our daughter was referred to Dr Smith to see if she might have TMJ because she had chronic headaches. He told her “I can fix you”. After multiple tests, appointments, mouth guard, and over $7000 her headaches increased from 12-15 a month to daily. She talked to him multiple times about the increase and he made one excuse after another. 8+ months of appointments and countless hours wasted. A second opinion from a neurologist and TMJ was nowhere in diagnosis. I would never recommend him to anyone

Most knowledgeable dentist in Indiana I have seen. The office is immaculate and clean. Strives to be the best in town.
