Dr. David Treff, DDS

Dr. Treff and his staff are WONDERFUL!  My son is 9 years old and high functioning Autistic. Because of this going to the dentist is ALWAYS an issue!  The dental tech Jessica is so patient with my son!  She has been trying for years to get him to be comfortable enough with her to actually clean and floss his teeth and this past week he finally let her do a full cleaning!  Her demeanor is so calm and reassuring and my son finally was able to relax and let her and Dr. Treff do what they needed to do!  Dr. Treff is great with kids!  His upbeat personality and comfortable style are just what my son needs!  HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM and Jessica especially!!!!!

Ethics are not a priority for Dr. Treff. Scheduling the first appointment with the office manager, Monique, I was told that Dr. Treff would provide the intial consultation free of charge. I was not happy that although I felt the issue was an emergency they would not work her into their schedule for two weeks but I was begging for the appointment so did not feel as if I had room for complaint. Two weeks went by, in which my child was left in pain. When the day of the appt. arrived we experienced transportation issues and could not make the appt. time so we were forced to cancel and were not offered another appt. for another two weeks. Two days before this rescheduled appt. I received a call from the office manager telling me that she couldn't remember what she had told me in regards to the charges for the appt. but I would have to pay. During the appt. Dr. Treff told me he would take my child as a patient. A week later without cause he sent us a letter reneging on this promise.

I highly recommend Dr. Treff. He and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, and understanding when providing dental care to children. I am grateful that he and his staff are working during a pandemic and able to provide an essential service for my children. I believe that dental care plays a vital role in prevention and the quality of long-term health. If you and your child have anxiety with going to the dentist then rest assured that Dr. Treff and his staff will take great care of you during your child's dental journey.

My children went to Dr. Treff's office twice for routine cleanings. The first time we were completely pleased. The second time, Dr. Treff told me that he was uncomfortable with my choice not to do dental x-rays and wasn't sure if he could be their dentist anymore. He said he would call us within a few days with his decision, but he never did. Before choosing Dr. Treff as a dentist, I called the office and inquired if it was okay not to do x-rays and was told that it was completely up to me as a parent. It also wasn't an issue on our first visit, so I think it's ridiculous and rude to suddenly make it an issue on our second visit. He also hassled us over not doing a second fluoride treatment, even though they asked me to fill out a form at the beginning of the visit that said it would not be covered by my insurance and asked me to indicate if I wanted it anyway. There was no language on the form indicating that it was a problem if I opted not to do it. But then, when I discussed it

Dr. Treff is the best pediatric dentist I have ever encountered hands down. He is truly professional and has a way with kids. I had almost given up trying to locate a dentist after various failed attempts due to my son having ADHD and not being very cooperative. I spent countless hours speaking to my insurance providers (medical and dental) and researching general dentist, specialized dentist, and pediatric dentists. Luckily, I had come across Dr.Treff. Dr Treff has an excellent manner of calming the youthful patient and emotionally sedating the concerned parent. One of our two children under the age of 8 has had 2 emergent experiences that were resolved without flaw or complexity. we are so very happy to have him provide dental care for our children and educate us in process.

This office is a kid friendly place and Dr. Treff is just amazing. We were referred to him by other friends in that have taken their children their and had great things to say about office and staff. You can tel as soon as you walk in that they work hard at making it the most enjoyable visit possible. Dr,. Treff is honest and accommodating. I had to drive an hour and half to get to him but he is totally worth it and I will be coming twice a year! 10 stars!!!

Dr. Treff was kind, funny and professional. My children were scared to go to the dentist and he and his staff managed them and their fears very well. I would definitely recommend him to others and will be going back in 6 months.

Dr. Treff and his staff are always top notch. My children love this place and never complain when we tell them we are going to the dentist. He is very professional and understands our children needs. We have had Sedation for our youngest and was taken care of very well at the hospital. All of Dr. Treff's staff is wonderful and professional and know there stuff. Dr. Dave was amazing! His staff and office were all very friendly. A 9 year old with anxiety was put at ease by being explained step by step and being engaged in the care that was being provided. Dr. Treff always takes his time to show and explain and answer any questions we have! We definitely will always come back and recommend Pediatric Dentistry of Burke to friends and family!

My daughter loved Dr Dave. He made her feel extremely comfortable and his office is amazingly kid friendly. I loved the top tier customer service that I received from his entire staff- from the initial phone call to treatment to the follow up. This is a fantastic practice and I would highly recommend it for any family.

After trying several pediatric dentists, we have finally found the right one! Dr. Treff is friendly, knowledgeable and takes extra care with kids that are particularly anxious, namely my son. My son has had a more than his share of bad experiences with dentists, so when I told him he was going to try a new one he was less than thrilled. He took his time and went that extra mile to make him feel comfortable, which I he does with all kids . We no longer have a battle when going to the dentist!
