Dr. David Weldon, DMD

Dr Weldon is a great dentist from a skills perspective. I have no complaints. However his business practices are not as good! I had an implant done to replace a bridge when a new bridge could have been placed and would have been covered by my insurance and likely one third of the total cost! His team told me that my insurance had been contacted and had approved the implant work inclusive of the crown which is a required part of the process. The non covered portions I paid as I completed each phase. Almost 18 months later I was presented with a bill for $1000, after being told that my insurance did not pay (again I was told before the procedure that the process was acceptable to my insurance company). I would have never decided to incur the extra expense of an implant) esp since I had to make 4 trips back to Rome from SC for each step) if I would have known the insurance had not agreed to cover the crown (the final step).

Dr. Weldon is just about the best dentist I've ever seen. Never had he caused me pain, and he has fixed a lot of my dental problems from my past. I need to get into touch with him as I have another implant that I need to have done.

Just had an extraction done by Dr Weldon, everything went smoothly- no drama. Dr Weldon was very nice patient and very professional. Would not hesitate to go back to him. A very good dentist in my opinion..

Doctor Weldon is excellent. I have been very satisfied with him and his staff. He has an excellent chair side manner, good sense of humor and doesn't try to rush. He listens, asks questions and takes time to be sure that you understand. I just had my six month checkup and Dr. Weldon is no longer at the J.L. Todd location. I am unable to find out where he is at this time.
