Dr. Delia Downing, DDS

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for Dr Downing for quite some time now. She’s been my dentist for years and always makes time for me. I really feel like she cares, beyond just the procedure she performs - always checking in to make sure I’m healing properly. I trust her and am so happy I found her.

Even though offices closed during covid, Dr. Downing is always there for me and gives me great support. She never makes me feel guilty about reaching out and really cares about my problems.

Dr. Downing is kind and attentive, always listening to my concerns and offering advice. I've followed her to her new location, and even saw her during Covid (which she treated very seriously and always made me feel safe with all the extra precautions).

She is great. Going to the dentist usually scares me but I really trust her and she makes me feel comfortable. I have gotten better about going every 6 months instead of waiting too long so my anxiety about dental work has gone down because of Dr. Downing.

Dr. Downing no longer works at this location (she's at Jeffrey Cohen & Associates in Harris, NY), but I'm writing a review here so that anybody who may be looking for a great dentist can find one because she is just that good. I'm so happy I came across this practice and I can't say enough nice things about it. Dr. Downing went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She explained the procedure I was going to have, making it easy for me to understand which really calmed my nerves. After we were done, she let me know I was free to reach out at any time with questions or concerns, even on days she wasn't working. Talk about a dentist who cares!

Dr. Downing goes out of her way to ensure her patients are well taken care of. I had pain and was able to reach her after hours without problem. She took the time to hear me out and offer advice before my next appointment. I have never had a dentist as attentive and kind.

I have been going to Dr. Downing for years, even following her to a different practice where she now works in Harris, NY. She has always taken great care of my teeth and has walked me through what she'll be doing so that I'm well informed. When I first started going to her I had quite a few problems and was embarrassed by my dental hygiene. She never made me feel bad about it, and instead worked with me to develop a plan to get my teeth and gums healthy again. THANK YOU DR. DOWNING!
