Very arrogant. Does not explain treatment well and fees were much higher than other orthodontists in the area. I will be going to someone else!

I was told during the consultation and throughout treatment that my teeth would align. After completion, I was told this was not possible because one tooth is thicker than the others. Furthermore, a space formed between my teeth after a couple of months of completion that was not there prior to treatment. I found Dr. Palaganas unhelpful and not concerned about these issues. I had to spend additional money to get them corrected by another Orthodontist. I do not recommend him for Invisalign.

My tween child recently got braces with Dr. Doug. We are very pleased with the level of care, concern and expertise of Dr. Doug and his staff. They are patient and take the time to explain everything. They involve the parent and you can watch the braces being put on. He seems to really care about his patients. My child feels very comfortable with him and his Assistant she had. His payment plan and fee was fair and competitively priced for the location (we see him in Rockville Centre).

Sincerely the best experience I've had at a doctor?s office! Dr. Doug does an amazing job of explaining everything in detail. He takes his time to listen and exudes a great attitude. You can genuinely notice that Dr. Doug cares about his patients. His staff is also just as good and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Doug, he is a must visit.

Simply the best! The other 3 offices i went to felt like they were just trying to sell me on braces for my son. Dr. Doug actually told us that my son didn't NEED braces, but explained the benefits that treatment would provide. His honesty was refreshing!

Amazing! Takes his time to explain EVERYTHING and make parents and children feel so comfortable with every aspect of their treatment. I also love that he does the majority of the treatment himself, and the assistants he has are 100% licensed assistants or dental hygienists.
