Dr. Read is a very conscientious dentist and takes pride in his work. I have been a patient for over 10 years and feel totally assured of his competence and that of his hygienists and others who work in his office.

He does excellent crowns and pays attention to detail. He is an experienced dentist who takes everyone's budget into consideration. He never pushes to do a million things at once but tends to take things a little at a time and spans things over time. You are able to see exactly what needs to be done because they take pictures of the problem areas so there is no question of why an area is being treated. I'd recommend him! Just be sure you state your preference of white or silver fillings because he tends to do silver fillings on the back teeth.

I would never recommend this dentist to anyone with less than perfect teeth. I saw him for years. He did good work for the most part, but would always find more to do (BMW payment due? need a pool cleaning? Drill & bill!). I really think he messed up one of my teeth, because I could no longer floss it after he "fixed" it. The one star is mostly due to the judgemental attitudes of the office staff. It's very irritating to be told as a grown woman to "maybe try brushing your teeth!"
