Dr. Eddie Tennison, DDS

We went to Dr tennison bc a different dentist destroyed my daughters teeth. He has fixed the other dentists mistakes. We really like him. He knows what he's doing. I have full confidence in him. We feel comfortable and well taken care of here.

I have been seeing Dr Tennison over the past 12 years. At first I liked him and his office because it was non thrills, no BS straight forward dentistry. Not pushing cosmetic or non needed procedures. But the past couple of years, I have notice a decline in customer service especially when it comes to Billing and the person involved with the Billing. There was an issue two years ago dealing with a root canal and I felt like the accountant/billing person wasn't looking out for me as a patient, more worried about being caught with a billing mistake. Then today, I went into the office to get a teeth cleaning. I was greeted ... Mr **** I would like you to know our teeth cleaning charges went up. I said, that's ok, I have insurance that covers that 100% That person then said, I am sorry but for the first time with this new price we require you to pay up front. I said, a phone call would have been nice, so I wouldn't have been surprised! Needless to say it went down hill from there!

We were scheduled for a visit at 7 AM. We get there and I am told I have to pay for the services which should be $35. I advised I was not informed that any payment was due for the visit because previously before it was scheduled I was advised that insurance was covered. I was then informed the dentist will still see my daughter and they will bill me later and send it to my home. I get a call a couple of days later asking for payment when I advised the woman on the phone I was told I would be billed she tells me the price is $50. I told her that is not what I was advised. Today 11/07/2019 I have no bill and call to make a payment and I am no told the price is $77. I told her to send me a bill and we will be changing dentist because this is unacceptable that I am given a different price every time I speak with someone.
