Dr. Edward Moitoso, DMD

I have been a patient of dr moitoso for close to fifteen years and he is the best however, in the last couple of years his new staff and new corp that took over his practice seems to be unmanged with many mistakes especially with appointments. Because my appointment was incorrect and they refused to treat me (cleaning) actually has happened twice and twice I was put in a room waited close to an hour and when the dr came in he said 'no one told him I was there. They tell you they will call you and you never get the call. They call to confirm your appointment and you verify who it is with and when you get there they tell you you were wrong and it is with someone else. I love Dr. Moitoso but must leave because my last visit they were so rude and condescending.

Took me as patient in network. Seems he is not. Received a 211 bill.

Removed my wisdom teeth and sent me home for the weekend with Ibuprofen. I suffered needlessly for days. He said I should have emailed him. Two crowns and a bridge he installed fell out within 2 years. It is now going to cost over $50k to repair. He also charged me $183 interest because I disputed a $700 invoice.

Best dentist, patient, just very informative and gentle. Best staff they were amazing and friendly to me and my family

Today was my 1st dental procedure, and I was very nervous because I have had painful experiences in the past with other Dentists. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how Painless the procedure was! He is an expert on giving Painless shots. I hate shots in my mouth, but no pain! Wow! He gives you this gel 1st to Simi numb you, then he gives you the shots. Man! I finally have found my Dentist! If you are scared to go to the dentist, give Dr. MOITOSO A TRY, you'll be glad you did, I know I am! Also, his lovely wife helped me immensely when I first arrived. She assured me I would be taken care of, and let the staff know I needed to have no pain. Much appreciated from her, the extra mile she went to alleve my fear...so, Thanks to this wonderful dental practice!!!

My experience with this dentist is EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I spent over 12K for crowns and his work, in my opinion, was SUBPAR. I found his Office Manager/Wife to be RUDE and CONDESCENDING. I wish that I would have taken my business to another Dentist.

He's very skilled and is serious about patient care

Just moved here & decided to try a new dentist in North Port. Dr. Moitoso was a true gem, caring & patient with me. He & his staff explained everything very clearly and I knew what options I had. His front office was courteous & made me feel at ease. The young man who took care of me upon checking in to my first visit always had a smile and even joked with me, much tony relieve, since I was so nervous. I will be recommending my whole family & neighbors to this dental practice, they are great!!
