We had such a wonderful experience bringing our 1.5-year-old son in for his very first dental visit! Dr. Mekel was incredibly kind, patient, and gentle—not just with him, but with us as first-time parents navigating this milestone. She made us feel at ease and took the time to explain everything in such a warm and reassuring way.The front desk team was also fantastic—responsive, helpful, and so accommodating when it came to scheduling. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience from start to finish.The office itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful little touches that make a big difference for kids. My son was an instant fan of the play area and the toy selection, and he was totally mesmerized by Ms. Rachel playing during his exam. It made all the difference in helping him feel comfortable.We’re so grateful to have found such a caring and kid-friendly practice—thank you, Dr. Mekel and team!

The space was beautiful and Dr. Mekel took her time answering all of our questions and providing advice for preventative care as well as our concerns around tounge ties. We felt so comforted and informed.

Amazing experience! From scheduling to having to reschedule due to sick child, this office staff was very accommodating and super friendly. Dr. Mekel was amazing with our little one! She made my two year old’s first visit a very positive experience. Dr. Mekel ensured little one was comfortable and did not force anything. All my concerns were addressed and Dr. Mekel is super knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning.

Best experience ever! From the sweet front desk lady, to the dentist, to the design and cleanliness...everything was on point. The dentist was so friendly, informative, funny, gentle, caring and so much more with our 1 year old whose first time it was at the dentist's office. She's creating lifelong good habits for kids regarding their teeth and it starts with not just not being afraid of the dentist, but looking forward to it!! Already excited for our next visit!

I met Dr. Mekel at the Farmers Market. She was really friendly and knowledgeable. I had been looking for a pediatric dentist for months. I’m very grateful I found her. Her and her staff provide exceptional service. They are friendly, professional, caring and just great people. The practice is very clean and comforting for kids. The process to book an appointment and for new patients is easy.

Dr. Mekel and her team were incredible. From scheduling to the actual appointment everything was excellent. She was wonderful and patient with our 14 month old who was not interested in having his teeth looked at. She was very calm, thorough and made our first visit to a pediatric dentist as smooth and enjoyable as one can hope with a toddler. Beautiful office, easy parking, very comprehensive website. Dr. Mekel and her assistant made my 3 year olds visit an absolute breeze. Every detail was thought through regarding his visit, they even had his name on the wall when we arrived. Dr. Mekel was very kind and patience with all my kids. We brought 3 kids in at the same time and Dr. Mekel was all ready for them. The office is super clean and nice. My kids love all the toys and book there. She took her time explaining to my kids each steps that she's doing to their teeth while they enjoy watching the shows in the screen. She was gentle but fast. She was experienced and took extra time and care for my special needs daughter so make her feel comfortable while getting her teeth clean. She even sing to my daughter while working on her teeth. For the first time my daughter was not upset , screaming or kicking. My kids had the best time getting their teeth cleaned at Dr. Mekel office. They are now her regular patients.

My 3-year-old, energetic daughter went for her check up and we were greeted with her name on a welcome board and a speedy check in process. During the exam Dr. Mekel patiently took time to calm my busy daughter while simultaneously entertaining her. The cleaning was a success!! We also had a great discussion about her oral health as well as her sinus issues. All of Dr. Mekel’s suggestions have proven to be effective & she even sent me a book so I can read up on how to improve her health. Little things like this go a long way for me and we will be coming to her for ALL of our dental needs for many years to come. If you want a compassionate doctor who cares about your child’s overall wellbeing then come to Dr. Mekel. I’m so glad we did.

Love, love, love Dr Mekel. She is so sweet and patient. We talk about her every night when we go to brush our teeth. Daughters are actually excited to go to the dentist every six months. 100% recommend Dr. Mekel and I tell all the other moms at my daughters preschool that they have to go to see her too.
