My veneer fell off after 6 months! A more reputable dentist confirmed that it was bonded to the wrong layer of my tooth. It was also the wrong color, the wrong length and they stuck out like beaver teeth in the front. Terrible!! I went back when I felt that the tooth was getting loose and I was told that it wasn't moving ... and I may just be "paranoid". But within 3 days of that appointment, it fell off while I was eating. I went to another dentist and they did a beautiful job fixing my teeth.
