Dr. Emily Sheppard, DDS

Very experienced, trustworthy dentist. Dr. Emily is great with kids very sweet I trust her judgment she’s not going to have extra work done to your child she has their best interest at heart. She is a dentist with integrity that does this for her level of kids and their health rather than for the money. The only dentist I would trust at that practice

Dr. Emily is the Best Pediatric Dentist in town! She is VERY caring & friendly to all the little ones, and is so detailed when explaining treatment. Definitely would recommend her all the way.

She definitely doesn’t want a traumatizing exp with lil ones and goes the extra mile. I trust her dental opinion! Very sweet and kind with my kids. Office staff in Lakeland facility seems untrained and unpleasant. New staff from old office in Eads.

Did not communicate at all, on what steps and procedures she was going to take. Did not acknowledge that the drug didn't take and had no effect with my 6yr old child. Did not acknowledge that He was terrified and in a lot of pain. (he was screaming on the table) Claimed he needed a filling and did not go over with me as of where it was located or whether or not if I wanted to procedure done. She talked more with her assistant about the actions to be taken more than she talk to us. She put me on the spot and exclaimed .. "well, I can just stop and you can just reschedule" when I took him home and examined his mouth .. he had sores all over his gum and cheek where she try to force this clamp on him that was way to big for his tiny mouth to do the filling. To put things into perspective. My son was more calm about having two teeth pulled vs. this "filling" job that was done all in the same visit with her.

DR EMILY IS HORRIBLE!!!!! She walked in the room with my four year old and did not speak a word to him.he is also terrified to lay down so instead of her talking kindly to him she just said lay down.he said no becaUse he was scared I tried to explain to her that he was scared but she said I dont care if he don't lay down I'm not looking at him.she was very rude to him and didn't speak one kind word. Do not take your children to see her she shouldn't be a pediatric dentist. We will never go back

She is very intuitive with special needs children and her number two goal next to excellent dental care is to never create a traumatic dental experience.
