Before I scheduled my appointment, I informed the Diablo Periodontics(Dr. Tsai owned) dental office that I have Cigna dental insurance. They assured me that my insurance was excellent, They confirmed at least 80% coverage and provided an estimate form. However, after four appointments, I was unexpectedly charged $1851 out of pocket, solely for a deep cleaning procedure. The staff at the front desk were unprofessional and deceptive. They pressured me to provide my credit card information and then presented me with a bill for $1851, claiming that my Cigna dental insurance didn't even cover the evaluation procedure.The clinic falsely stated that they were in-network with Cigna. They're still cheating me and lied about my insurance not working. I only found out the truth when I called the insurance company myself.
