Dr. Porter was drawn into dentistry by her father, Dr. Carl Block, who is also a periodontist at Virginia Family Dentistry, as well as her grandfather, Dr. Philip Block, who is a retired periodontist. She enjoys connecting with her patients and being an advocate for their oral and overall health and well-being.
