Dr. Evan Novick, DMD

I had a terrible experience with Shannon, the office manager. I had waited for almost 2 months for my first appointment with Dr. Novick as a result of a time-sensitive issue and, when I called I must have caught her at a bad time. She was on the phone with another patient and was very impatient and rushed with me, becoming easily frustrated. She became increasingly agitated and behaved unprofessionally and disrespectfully. She would not even allow me to explain the underlying issue or concern or why I was calling. I can only assume that she's not normally like this, but this was my experience on that one day. It did not inspire confidence in the practice and unfortunately reflects poorly on Dr. Novick. I have not seen Dr. Novick and, based on this experience, I would not be comfortable seeking care at this practice.

I recently was treated for a root canal - the staff and Dr. Novick were super nice and my root canal was pain free. They also were able to accommodate me on very short notice as I was in pain. Definitely recommend!

In summer 2019 I was referred to Dr. Novick for a root canal by my dentist. I had never had one before, but I did have one crown in my mouth from 2012. Instead of doing a root canal on the CORRECT tooth, he did the procedure on my crowned tooth (beside it). Without telling me what happened, he proceeded to then do the procedure on the correct tooth. He didn't tell me what had happened until it was all over. He did not charge me any money, but the original tooth in question has never been right. I had pain before the procedure, and I have lived in pain for 3 years, complaining to my own dentist throughout. I now have an abscess that has formed. Dr. Novick's office has not returned several voice messages I have left and my dentist has now referred me to a different endodontist.

Dr. Novick was amazing!! He was so gentle with my root cancel because I came in super nervous. He was also so nice with a good “bedside manner”. I highly recommend him!

Don’t go here. This is my warning to you. You don’t want to hear, “I told you sold”

Dr. Novick saved my family vacation. Three days before a family trip to Disneyworld I woke up at 3 a.m. with the worst pain I've ever felt. I couldn't sleep. I contacted Dr. Novick that morning, explained the situation and he recommended I see a dentist for x-rays and get them to refer me to him for later that day. Apparently, at some point I cracked my tooth and it got infected...needed a root canal. My experience could not have been better. Dr. Novick and his staff made the procedure go as smoothly as possible. I have never had any dental work done before and Dr. Novick explained everything to me very clearly. If something was going to hurt or could hurt he let me know ahead of time. I could tell he was not just concerned with fixing my problem, but also making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. If you grew up believing the cliche that having dental work is scary and is going to be painful...go see Dr. Novick and he will change your mind.

Dr. Novick was Awesome! His staff From the front office with Shannon sweet and welcoming, to his assistants AJ and Amber were not only just carrying and helpful, they were also hilarious. They answered every question and concern I had with patience and consideration. Dr. Novick explained everything before and after my root canal. THANK YOU TEAM for being such an Amazing group of professionals and your office makes you feel like family.

The absolute best experience that I’ve ever had with a dental procedure. I saw Dr. Novick for a root canal. This was my 3rd root canal over a period of about 30 years. My first two experiences were awful. My first experience was in my 20’s. The dentist over medicated me to the point where half of my face remained numb and paralyzed for the next three days. My second experience was painful, not enough medication. During my procedure with Dr. Novick, he thoroughly explained the treatment and how it was to be performed. As he was doing the procedure, he let me know what he was going to do next and how it should feel. Most importantly, I didn’t experience any pain during the procedure and 24 hours after the procedure, no pain. I have not opened a bottle of ibuprofen. Dr. Novick and his staff are exceptional and I’d recommend them to everyone!

That was the easiest thing ever... I was fine returning to work and my tooth has been pain free since! Extremely well done!

Had to have an urgent root canal so my general dentist referred me to Dr. Novick, saying he was “the best!”. Unfortunately, I’d had several root canals before and they’d be very unpleasant at the best. Came in for my appointment filled with dread. I left feeling almost giddy with relief! I didn’t experience ANY pain; even the initial anesthetic injections were effectively painless. Without even asking, they immediately inserted a “bite block”; a hard-ish piece of rubber that allowed me to relax my jaw and not have to struggle to keep it wide open throughout the procedure. The jaw muscle strain can be awful! But nope, had none. If I ever need another endodontic procedure, I will head to Novick’s as fast as possible. I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else. From reception, to assistants, to Dr. Novick, everyone I met was extremely kind, gentle, and caring. Just walking in the door, I could immediately feel that I was in a different and special place; bc of the people!

I had a great experience from start to finish with Dr. Novick. First, I was in extreme pain with a root canal that wasn't done right. I called Dr. Evan Novicks office and they couldn't have been more helpful. They found a way to fit me into his schedule immediately. The office is very nice and the staff is exceptional. Dr. Novick was able to access the situation quickly and resolve my issues which previous Dr.s could not in a quick an painless way. If you are considering any Endodontists he in my opinion is a easy decision. I will be sure to come back for any future needs.

I had an awesome experience with Dr. Novick and the entire staff for a root canal. Would definitely recommend. No one likes the thought of a root canal, but his staff and his chair side manner brought relief. He was very good with the Novocain injections and I was never in any discomfort.
