If I could leave less than 1 star I would.
Dr. Santos is unfriendly, a poor communicator, and condescending. I was going to try and look past that until my family informed me that her dental work is poor. My brother’s filling had rough edges and he was cutting his tongue on it. My sister’s filling fell out more than once (she wasn’t eating when it fell out) and they never gave her a break on a bill to fix it. If it would have been done correctly to begin with she wouldn’t have had to go back all those times. It used to be great when Maksimiak and Mitchell were there.

Satisfied customer
I’ve been a patient of Maximiek’s for 25 years. Always great staff and service. I haven’t noticed any change since Dr. Santos has taken over. Still great staff and great service

Been an out of pocket patient here for years. I’ve come in for sensitivity on a tooth probably half a dozen times, requesting referrals MYSELF even to Geisinger because they could not help diagnose my issue. Santos kept saying I was grinding my teeth. Until a week ago I REFFERED myself to an oral surgeon to find out the tooth has a giant hole from decay under my crown. The oral surgeon was able to see this on their X-rays. I called to request some sort of resolution due to spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on exams and X-rays for them to NOT diagnose my issue. I called and spoke to them, requesting an explanation and possibly a refund for some of those exams or X-rays or SOMETHING. They refuse to call me back or settle this issue. I’m extremely disappointed this is how you do business and I hope I am the only one you did this to because running around with pain and having your doctors tel you that you’re fine when your not is a complete breach of trust. If you plan to go here for anything more than a cleaning, I suggest you go somewhere else. You are just a number or a dollar sign at this office. You guys let me live in pain for years letting me thinking I had TMJ when I really just needed an extraction. Learn to read X-RAYS Eve.

Don't Take The Chance.
I went to the practice that she bought, for about 40 yrs., Maximiek Dentistry. Obviously I thought I'd stay there.I found Dr Santos to be cold, condescending, and in the professional aspect not good at all. In fact, recently I ended up in the ER When she couldn't figure out what was going on in my mouth, she said, 'You'll have to go to the ER. Tell them you need an IV antibiotic.' That was all she said; offered no assistance like calling ahead or the like. She said this as she leaned on the wall, arms crossed and dismissive.I went to the ER, twice in fact. Oral surgery once and finally, after 2 weeks of horrific pain, went to my endodontist who figured it all out.Her attitude is terrible; I tried to overlook that but worse yet is her ability to communicate, cooperate, and troubleshoot. Why she came to Danville, or thought this was the place for her, I have NO idea. My teeth have always been great and I've taken good care of them. Please...DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE ON HER.

BEWARE of this DENTIST OFFICE!
She said she never shows the x-rays to patients, because patients are not smart enough to understand x-rays. They drilled a hole in my tooth, then decided I needed a root canal and stopped working. They sent me home without a filling in the hole they drilled. They told me to stop eating on that side.

Didn’t tell me I needed my wisdom teeth out until a few months until I went to college, even though they had my X-rays from 6 months earlier (the same ones they used to tell me I needed the teeth out). Now my wisdom teeth are coming in and I’m having trouble eating and the first appointment to get them out is in 4 months. Could’ve avoided this if they paid attention.
