Dr. Gabriela Albota, DDS

The service was very stressful. She spoke badly of my endodonthist work. Recommended a temporary crown because she did not want to spend a lot of money. Paid $ 400 dollars that is now applied to her fee. I owe $217 that no one in UM is able to explain. I need to change for a permanent and will end up paying double the price. They argued that I was explained in detail that I would receive two bills one from the doctor and another for the work. I was given a quote for dental work. Never for a doctors bill. She supervises the students that do the work and looks at the X-rays in her office. The billing lady told me they were not in network in December and could not finish the work at the price they have quoted. I spoke to my insurance and they were in network at the time. I don’t recommend this office very stressful

Very unresponsive. Does not answer calls I had new implants which fells out five weeks ago. She took them back to get them fixed and I still don’t have them. Most of the work seems to be done by students, which apparently was not correct. Once she has your payment, you don’t seem to be important anymore. Stay away.

I don't recommend Dr. Albota to anyone, she is the most unpleasant and unpolite person i've ever met, she is not even capable to say "hello" to her own patients, besides that the work was not done properly because she didn't took the time needed to do it and I already paid in full for it. The staff is great and very helpful, not her. Please, do yourself a favor and go to any other doctor.

Probably the most unprofessional dentist's office I have ever visited. Though I had an appointment with Albota, she only came to verify what someone else did was okay. Team at this office needs to learn some general bedside manners. Do not talk about what you're going to do this weekend when you are drilling a patient. Introduce yourself and who you are and what you are going to do, especially when you aren't the doctor you made the appointment with.
