Dr. Garret Guthrie, DDS

I hate to see the negative experience one client had with Dr. Guthrie because I have had nothing but the opposite. After my dentist of 30 years retired, I was lost, and dreaded the search for a new dentist I could trust. I actually ended up in Dr. Guthrie's practice in Lee's Summit, but it was his fellow dentist that I started seeing. I had a tooth that needed work, but my dentist didn't feel like she could do it, so she asked Dr. Guthrie to assist. He fixed, and saved, my tooth. When he started his own practice in Grain Valley, I chose to leave the Lee's Summit practice and make him my permanent dentist. I have not had one regret. He is always honest and upfront when I ask his opinion on a procedure. He has never made me feel like he is in it for the money. I have never experienced any unusual discomfort and he asks me multiple times during a procedure if I am okay. His staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. For me, Dr. Guthrie and his staff are a great fit.

Seriously the best dental work I have ever had! Dr. Guthrie is so friendly and really spends time with each patient. He is great at what he does and really listened to my concerns to help find the best treatment option for me. I will never go anywhere else!

Horrible experience. I went multiple times, thinking it was just me...but no! The most painful localization of my life each and every time. I could feel the needle hitting my jaw bone and the needle going left and right. Took a long time each visit so my jaw got very sore. I then had pain for a week later that ibuprofen and tylenol would not even touch. The office staff and dental assists were very friendly and courteous but even that can't make me return.
