During my appointment, I felt that the level of care, communication and above all EMPATHY did not meet the high standards I expected from the Dr. and her assistant. With regard to the dental assistant, she was hasty and very insensitive, and she didn't take the time to clearly explain the procedures that were being performed or to address my concerns in an appropriate manner. This lack of communication and empathy made me feel anxious and uninformed about my treatment. In addition, I experienced considerable discomfort during the procedure since it was an emergency procedure. While I understand that some discomfort is unavoidable, my pain signals were not adequately addressed despite my expressed concerns. This not only affected my immediate experience, but it also left me worried and dissatisfied. After that experience, I will not be visiting again. I hope that these comments are taken constructively, so that they consider how to treat patients.
