Dr. Harry Goldschein, DDS

I am 57 years old and have never been hurt by a dentist until this one...his staff was ok but he was not...he extracted 2 teeth...the first one went pretty smooth but the second one hurt me terribly and he wouldn't stop knowing he was hurting me...he acted like I was a big baby and I'm pretty tough but if you're hurting me I'm going to let you know but he didn't seem to care...almost seemed to be enjoying hurting me...idk maybe he didn't like me for some reason and wanted to ensure that I didn't come back and he got it...I'll never let him hurt me again...

I had a crown placed on a molar 5 years ago and it had to be removed by another dentist because Dr Goldstein did a horrible job! I couldn’t even go back to him because he closed up shop in Casselberry FL and moved out. He did not seem to care I never got the feeling that he cares about me as a patient. Plus I think he smokes he always wreaked of cigarette smoke. What dentist smokes! Horrible experience.

I made an appointment with this dentist for me and my son 6 weeks prior. The day before the appointment he calls stating they have overbooked and cannot see my son. I explained due to Covid I would no longer have insurance after tomorrow so please deny me care but let my son have my spot. They then call me back stating he will see neither one of us. At no point was I rude or disrespectful. When Insurance is recovered I will choose a different dentist. One who cares.

I was a patient of Dr. Goldschein's before he moved to Daytona Beach. He is fair, honest, and doesn't encourage unnecessary work. His chairside manner is good, and he is good at informing as he goes, when treating. I'll probably go back to him, in Daytona, just because I trust him---that's a valued and rare quality in someone who is compensated based on the extent of work he does. I asked him if I needed an implant to replace an extraction---he said to take that money and go on a cruise!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Goldschein since 1985 when we returned to Orlando. He is honest and conservative in his treatment recommendations. He never tries to push you into work that you don't need; always giving you the facts and recommending that we watch the tooth for future treatment when it becomes absolutely necessary. He has placed 6 crowns over the years for me personally. I have free dental with employer but he is not on their plan - I come to him anyway.

Dr. Goldschein is a very pleasant Dentist and is very conservative with his prices. He did the best job I've ever had with my Crown, it was right the FIRST time, with no follow up's required! I agree the receptionist was rude on my first 2 visits, but after that, everyone was pleasant on the following visits, so maybe he did something to correct the attitude. I go to get dentistry work done and Dr. Goldschein gets 2 thumbs up in my book and I like his advice and methods.

RECEPTIONIST IS NASTY, VERBALLY RUDE AND JUST PLAN OUT BAD-MANNERED. DR GOLDSCHEIN IS AN OKAY DENTIST, PUSHED DENTAL WORK ON YOU TO THE POINT YOU FEEL GUILTY IN NOT HAVING IT DONE, THEN YOU AGREE; WORSE DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE, TO TRUST HIM WITH A CROWN. NOW I HAVE A TOOTH THAT DOESN'T FIT MY MOUTH; IT'S TOO BIG, AND HE SAYS IT'S FINE. NOW I HAVE PAY ANOTHER DENTIST TO HAVE IT REMOVED AND REPLACED. COSTING ME $800.00 TO FIX!!
